I think these were the most charming pictures of today's photo call. Sometimes you see the actors with a smile, or then a little breeze catches Monica's lovely hair. Monica stepping out the Mercedes is simply delightful, it catches more spontaneity. Andd, obviously Daniel Craig loves being Bond ;-). Please, let him stay Bond for as long as possible. He hasn't aged a bit on the pictures down below!:

And IMO the nicest one of Monica:

Is this not the same personal suit Craig was seen wearing on his visit to the Chiltern Firehouse?

ayaou're right. Even down to the watch, except he's wearing a different strap; the Omega Nato I believe. Thank God he's not wearing those unflattering specs this time.

It was an unflattering picture on the whole. Nobody wants to be photographed like that. It looked as he was in a hurry....or really trying to escape paparazzi. Not charming at all.

Therefore, look at my previous post :-).

He was wearing something similar on a Nato during the action scenes in Austria, so this could be one of the new watches (i.e. Omega 300M Master Coaxial on a Nato). I'd be disappointed if it is though, as I was looking forward to a new Planet Ocean variant or even some updates to the 300M for the movie.

    Let's see.

Just compare the above pictures with these ones I found from Sir Roger Moore and George Lazenby (photo calls as well as on set-pictures):

    Moore-Double-Breasted-Blazer-3.jpg

I'm curious what Sir Roger Moore himself has to say about Craig's double-breasted suit ;-).

Sorry dude, the Planet Ocean wont be appearing in SP.

From what I've heard from Omega retailers, this new 300M Master co-axial is not selling as well as they hoped. So they probably had to push it in the film to get some free publicity. The Planet Ocean still sells very well, as does the AT.

I've tried the 300M, and personally am not a fan. Principal problem is the lugs are too long and it sits quite flat on the wrist rather than curving down. The markers also are not raised, but rather painted (since it's an homage to the classic) and there is no metal surround to the markers.

@Gustav_Graves, we've been speculating that this could be Craig's personal clothing, which means it won't make an appearance in SP.

I agree: wish Craig could be Bond for another decade. He looks a lot better than he did a year or so ago, makes me wonder if he's had work done or simply found a good rejuvenation center.

I've been thinking the same thing. I want what he's on.
  • I think Craig looking younger is more in his hair style...it was cut far shorter in Skyfall but here it looks more like the length in Casino Royale, which definitely makes him look younger.

This is growing on me. And he does look ex-navy with a blue double breasted. Even if it is his personal suit. The Atticus Finch glasses don't quite work though.

And reading it back effeminate ad foppish is too harsh. I would say 'dandyish'

Can any of our members confirm - is that the roman Forum over their
shoulders. Long time since I went to Rome. A beautiful city but a peculiar one. The only place I've been that genuinely feels like a living museum. You become nonchalant about the culture as there is so much of it after a while.

    "Another Renaissance masterpiece church. Meh!"

I have mixed feelings about the Seamaster 300. Sometimes it looks incredible and other times it looks underwhelming. I just wish Craig would stick with one watch and make his timepiece have an iconic era status, which so far belongs to the planet ocean but the lack of consistency is really irritating. Brosnan wore and stuck with the smp through out.

Completely agree. Which is why I've been advocating (I almost want to write to Babs) for them to go back to the Submariner. No need for any changes in 50 years to the basic iconic design.

Ultimately, Vesper should have the last say ;)

    The power of make-up.

I think Daniel, being blond, naturally has a somewhat blotchy complexion that only evens out when he's tanned. I have about the same colouring and i always look spotty in pictures without make-up. It's the filters, I think. I dunno.
In the pictures from the photocall, Daniel's complexion is very even - too even. He's wearing make-up. And why not - it's what actors do.

Most of this is well known, but not sure if all of it is common knowledge regards the specific locations and the end of the chase...
The two stars had a meeting today with Ignazio Marino, the Mayor of Rome, to talk details of the action in Italy’s capital city, which will begin lensing March 8. It will apparently involve a spectacular car chase in Via Nomentana, from viale Gorizia to Porta Pia. Filming will commence from 9pm to 6am, with traffic blocked during the night shoot for safety reasons. Residents will only be able to come home at pre-arranged time.

There will be another chase on the Lungotevere that will finish with James Bond’s car falling in the river, with Craig’s Agent 007 to be rescued by a helicopter. Additional chase footage will be shot in via Barberini, via Quattro Fontane and via Nazionale, as well as other locations such as Borgo Pio, the Milvian Bridge and all the streets and alleys around Piazza Navona.

Interestingly, back when Monica Belucci first caught my eye, in Tears of the Sun, I thought she resembled Rachel Weisz.

Monica looks awesome. No-one in the history of the world has ever looked that good in a red dress.
As for the guy she's with. Hate the look, especially pants and the ugly shoes.
Don't care much for jacket either.
    Hair is much improved though.

Oh, I don't know - Dustin Hoffman put in a good effort ;)

I must agree with you who said Craig is looking younger in these pictures. Perhaps it is a dash of make-up and lighting, but skin tone aside, there seems to be less harsh creases in his face.

I think Monica is very attractive. You think Lucia Sciarra could be Bond's 2nd love interest? I mean, after Vesper?

I always imagined Madeleine Swann to be Bond's second love interest, but who knows?
