Just because someone on Instagram says it's the Bond set, doesn't mean that it really is.

I agree. It almost seems like a joke. It could be a roof top in ten thousand different locations. It's too tame a view for any important Bond scene or set. But who knows.

Is it wrong that I saw Monica sunbathing too!? :D

These gas tanks are seen all the time around the world with normal petrochemical storage. This look sufficiently Bondian for you?

We have been talking about "the new MI6-team" during the presentation of "SPECTRE" back in December 2014 no? On top of that, the new "Q" and Moneypenny are way more part of a team, in which James Bond 007 takes part. Not to mention the earphone scene in the casino in "Skyfall", which was in essene quite similar to the India-party-scene in "Ghost Protocol".
I think that was more of a nod to Casino Royale PTS "Stop touching your ear".

Looks tons better as a possible set location than that Instagram shot which is why I think it was a joke.

It could be that tank we saw with the large blue screen a while back? The water in the above image looks pretty similar to what it looked like

The second picture of the tanks by water is just a random photo - not production afiliated. A user was trying to guess what the tanks in the Instagram image were similar to.

It still could be part of that blue screen set up though. Good eye.

Do we know whether the police Lotuses will be used in the film, or whether they were there with the real police?

I am really enjoying all of these great photos; thanks everybody involved with those.

I just read that my release date in Japan for SPECTRE is Dec. 4th. So same as last year, the first weekend in December. At least it is (so far) being listed as SPECTRE. Sigh ...

The new Bond villain? Maybe? Christoph Waltz won't say much about his part in Spectre. But I think it might be a given 23h

I'm always amazed how....lacklustre and stupid questions from journalists can be. Especially when they already know in advance that these actors, in this case Waltz, won't give away a thing about their roles. Then come up with some other interesting questions! Like:

--> Did you rewatch any of the old Bond films to get some inspiration for your role in the film?
--> Have you been in touch with your predecessor Javier Bardem?
--> I am a fan of Blofeld. Who was your favourite Blofeld portrayal from the Connery Bond films?
--> Did you extensively read the script and give the producers/director some advices...on your character?
--> Did you read some of the previous Bond novels, like "Octopussy"? This actually gives you insight in the Oberhauser-family.
--> Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig keep saying that "Live And Let Die" is their favourite Bond film. What's yours?
--> You're the 2nd Austrian actor playing a big role in a Bond film. Klaus Maria Brandauer was the first, playing Largo in "NSNA". Have you ever met him?

    Mamma mia!

I still have a feeling she will be quite a villainous bitch in "SPECTRE" ;-). Especially since she's the wife of Marco Sciarra. The Fiona Volpe of "SPECTRE"?

Hmm...that MI scene featured a spy in a tuxedo infiltrating a billionaire villain's party. Isn't that a blatant Bond trademark? AVTAK. TND, DAD, QOS etc. Obviously Bond is "influenced" by other movies, but other movies are definitely copying Bond as well.

Yeah true :-P. I saw "Furious 7" tonight. And guess what, also that films has such a scene now. The entire Furious-team dressed in gowns and dinner jackets. It makes you think: Boy, the Bond-legacy infects people :-P.

Amen Gustav. Entertainment journalists compete strongly with sports journals for the stupidest questions.

I can tell you, that Waltz won't find these questions impressive.
He often spoke in interviews about NOT reading or watching the source material, other than the actual script.
So of course he did not watch old Bond films, because that's not his kind of preparation.
The Jarvier Bardem-question he would answer with: "Why should I?"
The Blofeld-question would get an answer like this: "I like them all, but it's a long time since I watched them. They are like a distant childhood memory."
    The script-question: "It's a steady back and forth-discussion with Sam. It's a good work-relationship."
The novel-question: same answer as question one.
The favourite Bond film question: "I always liked the escapism of the old Connery movies."
The Brandauer-question: He admires Brandauer. Waltz' background is the theatre. And Brandauer is one of the biggest and most respected theatre actors in Austria. Don't know if they know each other personally. That would be the only question with a "new answer", but the answer would not be of any importance to anyone, I think.

    http://www.gq-magazin.de/mode-stil/modetrends/interview-christoph-waltz-im-interview

I would ask Waltz about what kind of director Sam Mendes is: what kind of atmosphere does he create on set? How is it different to be directed by Mendes compared to Tim Burton, Roman Polanski or Quentin Tarantino? Is there a special Mendes-on-set-directing-style that differs from the others?

Or: Now that you did some filming for SPECTRE, does it feel different to work on a Bond movie compared to other big-budget-Action-movies like The Green Hornet? Does the EON-Family actually feels like a family like everyone says?

Of course there is a big chance, that he only would reply: "It's like working in any other movie."

But maybe he would say a little bit more than just his normal, typical answers.

I think it is really hard to come up with a question for Waltz, that really impresses him. Mostly he says nothing with many words. Haha.

The Alfa Romeos and Fiats were used in Rome, the black plane and black Land Rovers were obviously Austria, and the blue land rovers were used for practice filming (effects testing) at the start of the Austria shoot.

I'm not sure whether they're just leftover and brought back to London or of they'll still be using them. Looks a bit like a junkyard and they may be saving some for collection like the Land Rover in Skyfall.
