Agressive fear mongering? Could you possible be more demagogue? I have said many times that I believe the movie will be good, possibly great. Yes, I am far from satisfied with the script, but the movie has a very competent director. (See the "Bond, James Bond" line from the latest TV spot.) I don't think there are more than a few dozen people on Earth who like Mendes as a movie director as much as I do.

Haven't carefully checked it yet but:

The main stage in Pinewood was used to recreate the train scene (3 coaches) in Morocco.
The name of Koffler Clinic Director is "Célestine" (but that's Madeleine Swann).
Léa has proposed some minor modifications to Sam Mendes concerning the script but not major twists have been done.

Célestine is also the name of Léa's character in Diary of a Chambermaid. Not sure if that was deliberate or a co-incidence. Is Célestine a common name in France these days?

The new 60 sec. TV spot is insanely brilliant! :D So thrilling. So gorgeously filmed. I am really excited about this film.

I think they have elements to release the full trailer. I believe it will be released in the coming days/week, possibly on Monday.

The only scenes they don't have is the London scenes they have been filming in the past few weeks. I mean they do have them but I guess they haven't had time to edit them.

Regarding the Morocco scenes. They have filmed a lot of the scenes at Pinewood and the 2nd unit has already done the landscape and scenery filming. All they have left in Morocco is 10 days with the main unit.

They have absolutely all the elements. I think the full trailer, that will probably be released IMO will contain scenes from all the scenes in the TV spot just a bit more detailed, as we all know that scenes in TV spots are fast edits. Can't wait to see the next trailer and the movie in November! :-) :-) :-)

@ jake24 Just guessing here now. Possibly on the 15th the trailer will be released instead of the vlog. Maybe the source wanted to give the info for a vlog so they could keep the trailer in secrecy. Again I just want to say that I'm guessing.

Don't get me wrong I would be very happy to see a vlog too. :)

So I really have to hand it to EON and Mendes in particular if Spectre plays up to expectations. Mendes said after Skyfall that he put everything he would ever want to put into a Bond with that film. Yet he has managed to put together a production that is distinctly differently and equally as impressive.

Thank you so much for this article! I cannot believe some people still complaining about Bond being blond. Like a reviewer in Québec said when CR was released: some people have the problems they deserve.

I think with SP and any potential subsequent Bond film that Mendes may direct, it's more than what he wants or would do for creating a Bond film. Now, it's a case of continuing and honoring the legacy of Bond while still being a Mendes movie, it's a territory where Mendes has to fulfil a broader outlook that dwarfs his own personal vision. Remember, he's a fan just like us and has his favourite Bond movies and own ideas, much like many of us here. However, Mendes' personal Bond project came and went with SF and now is the time he has to go all in, full throttle and deliver a gripping action thriller that caters to a lot more than Mendes' personal preferences. With so much competition out there both in the same and different genres of film, escalating budgets, watchful eyes draped over box office takings; it really is time to give us Bond with a capital B and that looks to be precisely what Mendes is doing. SP will be a very different movie from SF. Mendes has already made the Bond movie he wanted to make; SP may continue what SF started but this as we can already see is a vastly different and looks to be a better film.

Yes there a few interesting thing. They said Chuck Aaron have made a full looping with the helicopter for the film. (There are few error in the article too, Madleine is a doctor, no the director normally).
They said that they could see a note, a paper, in her desk. Is the prescription for Bond : "Vicodin, Xanax, Viagra, 50mg for each take".

The prescription pad was mentioned in Empire magazine when they did the Bond special. Viagra was also mentioned in Empire.

Someone posted an article on Reddit that breaks down the TV spot frame by frame. The article included a still that may show just how brutal Mr. Hinx truly is. For those that are avoiding in depth analysis of the TV spot, I'll put it in spoiler tags.

Notice the coloring on Hinx's thumb. It appears to be covered in blood. Some are speculating Hinx gouged out his victim's eyes before snapping his neck. We could possibly be getting that brute of a henchman that many of us wanted after all.

Célestine is quite an old French name. Like Madeleine Swann (from "La Madeleine" and "Du côté de chez Swann": books of Proust), the maid name of Marcel Proust was Célestine. At the end of his life, Proust had only one friend: Célestine aka Céleste, his maid. Actually it should be a nod.

Thank you so much for this piece of info! I'm very excited now. I already knew that Hinx would be not the average Bond henchman. It seems they truly want to make him scary, WITHOUT becoming cheesy. Something that has never been done in a Bond film before. I even made a topic about this a while ago:

And now.....also this....ehm, silent wish I always had.....seems to come true :-O. I adore a henchman that really scares the hell out of you. We already had too many henchman that should have scared the hell out of us, but instead caused chuckling and laughter (Jaws, Oddjob, Stamper).

I think Hinx feels much closer to the henchman/-woman from that 2nd, very gritty, Bond film FRWL: Rosa Klebb, Donald Grant and Morzeny:

Thanks so much to Aaron819 for all the wonderfully sharp and crisp hi res screencaps! Makes the footage look even more incredible than it already did. And relieves a concern I had about that ghosting/ frame blur that came from the HD footage on the 007 site. I have to say I cannot think of any movie in recent memory with a look reminiscent of Hoytema's color palate, focus and lighting here. And different from Deakins work - which shows a desire to set this film apart and also show respect for the phenomenal work Deakins did on Skyfall. It looks like an oil painting in spots (Rome scenes especially) and yet like a scene from a 60s Bond. Can't wait to see a fully color timed, finished product!
