Steve Begg is vfx supervisor.

Sfx = Live in camera stunts, explosions and effects
I think...
I always thought it was the opposite.
No, he's correct.

someone has already posted the variety link;I am so tired so going back to bed 8-| #-o :\">
Now now, one of the main benefits of employing a guy like Begg is that he is not just a CG guy, he is very big on use of traditional visual effects when appropriate like miniatures, which were well employed on SF and CR.
When I read the first one I saw David Janssen for the character, but then he died about that time. I really enjoyed the first four or five novels (probably read them at least three or four times apiece), but then they just went SO bad. I've steered clear of the film, even on streaming, because it does not look or sound anything like what I read, or what I imagined when I visualized film sequences from the books. Nothing against Brosnan (he is awesome beyond belief in TAILOR OF PANAMA), but this just looked so wrong.

Second unit establishing shots I guess...anyone know anything about this?
I believe our field agent @SkyfallCraig is the man for the job. :)
Mystery solved, it isn't for SP but for Simon West next movie Stratton which he's currently filming in Rome. Here's a night photo actress Gemma Chan tweeted a week ago where you can see the same building and softboxes placed in front of it:

I'm currently in London, so no direct information about it
Gemma Chan is pretty much the only reason I kept watching Humans to the end. Bond girl material most definitely!

I'm pretty certain Universal Pictures will get the rights. They already do the distribution for the Bond films in The Netherlands. And with Universal all the SonyLeaks backlash and financial problems are gone in an instant.
What does this mean for EON and the production of the next Bond movie?
Not sure how much creative control they have over their films.
