Who says there will even be a B25?

This isn't a serious question, is it?

    Have you read the script?

@fromswedenwithlove, I scanned bits and pieces of it months back, don't remember too much.

@doubleoego, it was getting heated between a few members on the previous page, and it turned into ridiculous racist accusations. This isn't even the right thread for such a discussion, anyway.

Ah I see. Yeah, people here need to cool down.

Just to correct: none of us accused each other or others members of racism. I certainly spoke totally in general. Re look what happened to Roger etc. etc. and how EON and all others have to circle around, when they are asked about it.

If you can remember the ending you would know what I'm talking about.

Even still, it's not the right thread for such a discussion, and the topic was bound to turn that way sooner or later. We simply cannot have a discussion about a black Bond or a gay Bond or a female Bond without it turning heated real quick. It's impossible.

I would not want to be doing 12 to 16 hour days like DC when filming a Bond film. Moore said a number of times this is his last and he ended up with 7 movies! My belief is that DC will honour his 5th film and then walk away.

If i am wrong so be it but i will be very shocked and saddened, but i seriously cannot see Babs and MGW letting Dan get away just yet? Look at the success he has brought them and the studios!
  • All these thoughts on Craig leaving is actually stressing me up :(( I'm gonna kick back and watch YOLT and try to just forget everything for two hours... Maybe that's what we all should do.

I have said this before and I will say it again Craig should do 6 bond films I am going to keep this as vague and spoiler free as possible

Casino Royale Bond Begins and introduced us to a new organization
Quantum of Solace bond takes on the organization and tries to deal with the ramifications of having his heart broken
Skyfall Bond wonders his place in the world after a few missions and deals with the loss of M
    Spectre
Bond meets the head of the organization Oberhauser/Blofeld and has to deal with him and with Madeline Swann who I insist the script implies he falls for her and leaves the service for her she is Daniel's Tracy
The Property of a Lady (Bond 25)
In my opinion the story continues from here Bond gets married to Madeline Swann Blofeld escapes and takes revenge Bond kills Blofeld in a huge battle
    The Death Collector
With Blofeld Dead Bond wonder's his place in the world and is given a mission to take on an arms dealer in Sub Sahara Africa. Basically a mix of You Only Live Twice and The Man with the Golden Gun

I feel like a broken record, but this thread is NOT for leaks discussion in any way, shape, or form. We have a thread for that, everyone, so please stop posting and hinting at them here.

With all respect, there's so much info out there about SP now, that every piece of information posted here in terms of the story doesn't necessarily come from the leaks.

That's true. I was going to say, it will be more difficult to control this over the next few months, because the trailers, interviews etc. are giving more info and lending to speculation which is not leak sourced.

THIS is leak sourced, unappreciated posting. He's indirectly referencing what happens at the end of the Spectre, and what may or may not happen after, based on the leaked script.

There's lots of information officially coming out, I get it, but people who have read the leaks seem to not even realize when they're spoiling things for others. It's becoming increasingly hard to be in this community during the leadup to the film, again.

This. It's a very simple thing to grasp, so please, stop posting spoilers and leaks/leak hints in this thread. Try and remain detached and only post about general information: plot, cast, what we've see in the trailers and stills, etc. If you read spoilers on some obscure website or dove into the leaked script, don't post information about it here.

    @Murdock

That's not simple. Some people like to speculate based on info obtained from legit sources. Lots of us had a lot of fun doing that during the SF production (always remembering spoiler tags, though). There was no leaked script back then

So you want them to speculate in the leaks thread, where all the answers are given? What's the fun in that? And want this thread to be completely free of any spoiler-tags?

    Confused to why

I'll go ahead and spoiler anything regarding the ending of the film. Again, we have a perfect location for spoilers and leaks, so please do not continue to discuss them here.

Confused to why you put my post in spoilers? I have not read any of the leaks or the script. Mendes stated that this was a two part story and it's been said so in the announcement and interviews... I thought it was common knowledge that Craig was doing this movie and one more and it was going to be like "CR" and "QOS" unless I missed something....?

Apparently, that doesn't seem to be the case, @CASINOROYALE. I spoiler tagged it just in case.

Okay.. Yeah I have been a member for almost 10 years I am not stupid enough to post spoiler related info but I was just saying what was heard via the media. Apologies!

Interesting if this is indeed Craig's last film...

Ah so tomorrow morning I will know if it is about Craig Retiring or returning or about something else... Perhaps it's Bond 25 related?

Can you at least confirm if it's good, happy news....or more bad, disappointing news for fans?

I believe he really feels that, yes. But things can change.
I'd like for Craig to be the Bond that finishes off Blofeld. That would be more satisfying for me. They could still carry SPECTRE onward for the next new Bond actor anyway.

Like I said, for the next Bond actor they will most certainly introduce a new Blofeld/SPECTRE, regardless of what happens in this film or the next Craig one. I don't think, in fact, they'll carry on with any cast/story arc elements from the Craig films for the next actor: it'll be a new Bond, new M, Q, Tanner, Moneypenny, Blofeld etc etc etc.....

That may very well be true.

I doubt it, they would want a bit of continuity. Ralph Fiennes as M is good for a while I think, simply because of his stature.
