SPECTRE Production Timeline

  • "SPECTRE" will be the first Bond-film in The Netherlands receiving an age classification of "16". Which is rather unprecedented according to the Dutch "KIJKWIJZER" (equivalent of the BBFC). Both http://www.kijkwijzer.nl/Classificaties uitgelegd/page203.html and http://www.kijkwijzer.nl/index.php?id=26&i=203784&professional= mention "James Bond" as a prime example receiving an age classification of "12". Not for "SPECTRE" this time around, as http://www.wolff.nl/films/spectre is mentioning:

Perhaps....the film is way more violent now Mr Hinx is in the film ;-)?

There's a countdown timer on the 007.com website now for the release in the UK/Ireland. Has that always been there? I might be blind/an idiot.

‘I’m not strong and macho. I’m not James Bond. I don’t need any of his lifestyle'

Can't believe they mispelt Blofeld! C'mon Daily Fail!
"It’s getting easier because I’m doing less stunt work. So I’ll keep going as long as I’m physically able. And, I’m contracted for one more. Ok? These movies don’t get made very often. It’s just the fourth time for me, a spit in the ocean. If you don’t get excited about making a movie of this size with this cast, with Sam Mendes…then go home!"

I think that's close enough for an indirect confirmation of the man: Daniel Craig is here to stay after "SPECTRE" ;-)! Yeah baby!! Trust me guys.

Not sure how long he'll be in the role for but I was always convinced he'd be back for Bond 25. Any more movies will be a bonus.

With certain films coming out in the next 2 years, Craig leaving after SP wouldn't be a good idea. SP WILL be a hit...Craig isn't going anywhere.

Why would people assume he is leaving the role when it was right after the release of Skyfall an official report was made on the man that he opted to depart and decided to make two more? The "optional" signature on the fourth entry becoming a solid, recruiting another in the process under a new contract. The 25th is Craig's.

Exactly! Just give him a couple of years to rest, and let him do (and release) Bond 25 in 2018.

People were saying he was leaving for quite a few reasons. Babs recently stated that Craig has an open contract post SF, others are saying he's been in the role too long, one guy came in here and stated that the script makes it impossible for Craig to come back, which turns out it was Mendes who said this cording to the poster and amongst other reasons some people want someone new, especially with the media going into overdrive with who should be the next Bond.
Sometimes people get way too carried away, just look at what's going on with WoTw, some people are already thinking the film itself is going to be a dud just because of Smith's song.

Spectre will be an outstanding film. One single song doesn't upgrade nor downgrade the quality of a film.

‘I’m not strong and macho,’ he says, while conceding that he spends much of Spectre bare-chested.

The ladies will come a flocking....SP will definitely crack a billion for certain haha

Craig certainly sounds open to doing another one from that quote in Event Magaizine. Seems that a few months rest after a long shoot has reenergised his enthusiasm.

And once Spectre opens and rakes in another fortune, Eon and MGM will do everything in their power to hold onto Craig. Finger's crossed.

This is a normal reaction of Dc, always putting himself down. Just the bit of his reaction to his knee injurty shows, he might be as Bondian in this way as it gets.

Well, sadly we haven't seen much of that yet. Like with QOS, they put him in lots of clothes even in the desert.

Just finished reading this - very enlightening! Although a warning - if you want to avoid spoilers, don't read Chris Evan's review of the DB10 - there's a picture in there which certainly spoiled something for me!

I think the German steelbooks explained it much better how to access these features...

The Daily Mail is banging on about this again:

From Homeland With Love: Damian Lewis 'is being lined up to replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond'

Damian Lewis is reportedly being lined up to play the new James Bond, should Daniel Craig leave the role.

The Sunday Mirror reports that the 44-year-old Homeland star has been given 'an unofficial nod' that he would be the producer's first choice to become the new 007 agent.

The reports follow Daniel Craig's recent hints that Spectre is set to be his final Bond movie.

He is seen as an all-round international star who is perfect for the role. As he ages, he looks increasingly suave and sophisticated. Bond bosses are now convinced Damian is their man.'

I don't even know who Damian Lewis is, but I heard that name and saw the red-headed face beside a red car many times since 2013, already. Why do these stories keep recycling, again? Or are we going to see another story with Idris Elba being in line or starting an argument about casting a 'black Bond' one more time? Methinks EON should start firing shots at these.
