Link to spectre-tickets.co.uk to book SPECTRE tickets to watch the film.
So basically, for us ardent Bond fans, nothing new at all on this behind the scenes disc. Not sure I was really expecting anything special from this free disc anyway.
The disc can be picked up until the end of Monday from any Tesco store.
Thanks
Fairly early yes. You flip your eyes and it's gone. He does not say much, but the way it sounds.
There was a lot of commonplaces and not much else really. But I guess that has to be expected with such kind of "documentary". In the end, it's all about Jonathan Ross driving the Aston Martin.
Interesting if a bit trivial thing about Denbigh (don't know if it needs spoiler tag, but here it is:
What's the green thing on the back of Mr White's hand at around 2:07?
First image of OHMSS a few seconds before the end..
And QOS exists only thanks to Mr White and the car chase, and nevertheless gets far less screen time than DAD for instance.
Ok, nowadays you're a Bond fan when you know George Lazenby. In 20 years, you're a Bond fan when you know Craig did QOS :)
Does seem like there has been a major cover up of that films existence recently. Better contact deepthroat! :-$
thank you for this!
With Skyfall I was spoiled that M dies so...let's hope nothing big will be spoiled for me this time (even though if a movie is good I'll enjoy it regardless of it being spoiled)
Don't know if it was intentional or not.
I kind of guessed when I learned that Ralph Fiennes' character was named Gareth Malory. I guess Miles Messervy would have been too obvious. And also, in the novel TMWTGG which SF is inspired of (freely), there's an assassination attempt on M and it is mentioned that his predecessor was murdered. Even in the trailers the inspiration was obvious. So it came as no surprise to me that Judi Dench's M would die.
But in all seriousness, I knew virtually every spoiler in Skyfall before it came out (having read the scene by scene Wikipedia synopsis just before I left to the theatre), and the movie ended up being one of my favourites to date. Spoiling myself didn’t wreck or weaken the cinematic experience for me whatsoever. I would like to know a lot less going into Spectre however.
BOND star Daniel Craig reveals 007 is shaken and stirred by his younger new boss, played by Dubliner Andrew Scott, in upcoming blockbuster Spectre.
The Sherlock actor is Denbigh, the head of a government agency tasked with restructuring MI6, who clashes with the super spy — and Craig reckons Scott was the only man for the tough job.
He said: “Andrew is tasked with squaring up to and talking down to Bond and that is no easy feat.
“He’s younger, totally bureaucratic, runs by a completely different set of rules and takes no s*** from Bond. And he does a fantastic job.
“He has this commanding presence that demands attention. He’s imposing and Bond is somewhat threatened, irritated and maybe overawed by this young intruder.
“And it’s not only 007, Andrew has to lay down the law with Ralph Fiennes’ M as well, and he does a really great job. I was impressed.” With little detail regarding the plotline, sketchy reports claim Bond digs deeper into his past, discovering dark truths, and goes on to infiltrate a shady organisation called Spectre, headed by mysterious bad guy Franz Oberhauser (Christoph Waltz).
And best known for his villainous role as Moriarty on BBC’s Sherlock, rumours suggest Scott will also turn out to be an evil player.
Can't believe we only have a week left.
Looks like a venous access to me.
