It's been a great year long journey talking with all you and watching the making of this film unfold. Can't believe this movie is finally here .
UK release is Monday 7:30pm not midnight tonight
That interview became cringe worthy fast. The daniel craig pout? wtf
Yes I got embarrassed for her BUT Craig was very nice in the interview.

I have to say that.......Monica Bellucci looks a lot like Fatima Blush from NSNA. Especially in those lovely 1980's clothes :D:
Mod edit: F-bomb removed.
"...and thrifty when it comes to character development. The Bond Girls in particular get short-changed - Seydoux is a thumbnail sketch, while Monica Bellucci's grieving widow is so throwaway you wonder why she even said yes
to the part."

Oh well, I'm sure it'll be an entertaining film but there's a good chance that I will feel like I've been short changed somewhat. One wonders why they wanted Smith to record a romance song when it's all so brief in the film anyway. I bet that I will think that Craig is too comedic too. Anymore than what was in Casino Royale is too much. Everything else looks good but it seems like my overall memory of the film will be somewhat tainted by the usual fleeting character driven scenes in Bond films, with the exception of the great OHMSS, CR and Skyfall. They did Tracey, Vesper and M justice but disappointingly not this time around. SPECTRE sounds like a classic Bond film but sadly not one that dears to be a little different in the way of character movement.
"As the second half unfolds, the absence of an emotional core becomes ever more glaring, hopping from one action beat to the next without ever asking us to care – or, at times, understand – what’s going on. "
Just one action scene after another. I might have guessed. Can't say I'm surprised but I still feel disappointed.
Well put @RC7, I saw that video and that guy was so annoying. He was grinning the whole time and kept chipping in with negative stuff like 'last one for Craig!' He obviously had no deep love for the films. What a b%%$end ~X(
I don't see the logic in what you're doing here. Surely a better way to approach this would be to go and see the film and make an assessment then, rather than preemptively assuming how you'll feel. Your talking about your 'memory of this film', having not even seen it.
That was painful to watch for so many reasons.
Agreed, embarrassingly so and painful to watch in parts. DC does pout though, look at every poster for SPECTRE as an example.
This is what happens when interviewers start acting like the people they're interviewing are there to do whatever they ask of them, else they'll be a poor sport. She had no idea what she was asking was simply inappropriate.
@RC7 The guy with the glasses, I think you mean. I cannot stand when people behave like that. It's almost being smug that a film didn't impress you. It's how people act when they think they understand how a magic trick is done. :-w
Even though Dave seems like a genuinely top bloke, you'd still shit yourself a bit if you clocked him on the beak.
Never was there a truer statement... Most people these days think they are an established movie critic. Just enjoy the movie. If you're a bond fan it sounds like this movie will follow up skyfall great. Especially if you wanted a little more "classic" bond. The biggest gripes I've seen: the legnth... Okay so more bond? Fine with me. A little less than developed madeline swann? Okay I definitely did not want another vesper or ohmss love story...
=P~
Looks really good
