  I'll definitely be checking out Altered Carbon. Any excuse to spend a lot of time in a Blade Runner like world. And I've always been of the opinion that the world of Blade Runner is wasted on film and more suited to a miniseries/show format, with that show is going for. I wouldn't mind seeing a series of anthology seasons set in the Blade Runner universe covering different aspects of that world, either. One season from the cops' perspective, another from leisure bots, and maybe a human story. Or a show that balanced all perspectives with characters from different walks of life.

  It will fall hard on its head, especially because of Shane Black, who's got only one type of plot to narrate, only with minor changes here and there.

  True with that. I know some cretin out there developing a remake of Enter The Dragon. As if the film needs any remake or any reinvigoration in its storytelling.

  @Thunderfinger, Dynamite Comics released comic book sequels to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, just in case if you're interested in reading them. I rather liked them personally as they evoked the spirit of the original.
