  @bondjames I smell a ton of nominations for Mahershala Ali this year, both on television for True Detective and on the big screen for Green Book. However I hope Viggo Mortensen gets the big win for the latter, he is one of the most overdue actors to get an Oscar (likewise, I hope Liam Neeson gets nominated for Widows, he's still got the acting chops and intensity outside of the action genre).

  @DaltonCraig007, it's funny that you mention Mortensen, because I'm just about to post a review of a late 90's film of his which I watched last night. Great actor and always a pleasure to watch. I'm looking forward to Green Book.

  I'm not sure if Liam is in much of Widows. Without giving too much away, I think the women are the main characters although he appears in flashbacks. He's definitely still got it - no doubt.

  Liam Neeson's character really isn't dead, and he and Viola Davis' character are conning everyone (the other dead robbers, the other widows and whoever the bad guys are (Farrell, Duvall, or Kaluuya).

  Interesting @DaltonCraig007. It could be. I'm looking forward to that film primarily because of Debicki (they need to get her in a Bond flick after the recast) and Neeson.
  
  RE: Ali: he is a very charismatic and confident actor. I've only seen him in House of Cards, and he's really good in that. The trailer for Green Book has me intrigued. These sort of films aren't normally my cup of tea (I'm a simple action/thriller spectacle junkie mainly), but I'll definitely be watching that one.

  @bondjames, that was my first thought, seems to have much grander stakes and scale than the previous seasons. Season 3 had its moments but it was the weakest of all three thus far in my opinion. Hopefully this one is even better.

  @Creasy47 I've been meaning to get to Season 3 for the longest time. I guess the end of the 2nd season seemed like a finale of sorts and so I didn't feel the immediate need to carry forward with the Cali Cartel. This new season provides motivation to proceed though.
  
  Michael Pena will liven it up for sure, but I'm not sold on Diego Luna. He has failed to impress me in the past. Hopefully Pedro Pascal is back.

  I felt like they could've spent more time with the Cali Cartel, but overall it had some good moments; I think losing both Wagner Moura and Boyd Holbrook made it lose a lot of the magic, but Pedro Pascal makes for a fantastic leading man. I wish he somehow returned for this season, but alas, I know he's getting bigger these days and doesn't have as much time to film full shows.
