What's some really good trivia for the Brosnan films?

edited April 2011 in Bond Movies Posts: 23
At the moment I'm writing a "name the film" Bond quiz and I'm stuck with a couple of the Brosnan films.

For GoldenEye I've written:

Which film title had been the name of Ian Fleming's beachfront house in Jamaica?

For The World Is Not Enough I've written:

What was the last film to feature Desmond Llewelyn as Q?

So that leaves his 2nd and 4th films. Any good trivia worth asking about?

* It can't be anything related to relase dates.

How about this off the top of my head:
What was the original title for TND?
Or perhaps, what now famous actor got one of his first on screen appearances in TND(Gerard Butler)

For DAD.... maybe a open question like, name 10 homages to previous movies- ex: Halle Berry's bikini, DOZENS of items in Q's lab, etc....

BTW, you should totally post your quiz when you're done so we can OWN it! lol

    For Tomorrow Never Dies:

What film has the closing caption 'In loving memory of Albert "Cubby" Broccoli'?

    For Die Another Day:

What film set a new record with £120million worth of product placement deals?

    TND:

Which Bond film references the title of a Star Wars movie?
(Elliot Carver's headline for the UK potentially going all bellicose on China's ass is 'The Empire Strikes Back' - he snidely remarks to Bond that the headline 'isn't even mine').

    DAD:

Which is the only Bond film to use Buckingham Palace as a location?
(Buck Palace features in the background during the scene in which Gustav Graves makes his entrance, at the bottom of the Union Flag-adorned parachute)

Quoting St_George: 'The Empire Strikes Back' - he snidely remarks to Bond that the headline 'isn't
    even mine').

Actually I believe the title reads "The Empire WILL strike back!" @St_George. I could be wrong though. ;-)

Wow, talk about words that you'd never see in the same sentence: good and Brosnan films ;)

How about for both films, "which Bond films bare no resemblance to Ian Fleming whatsoever?".
Quoting Luds: Wow, talk about words that you'd never see in the same sentence: good and
    Brosnan films ;)
    That's just mean @Luds - but true.

    For Die Another Day:

Which film is a complete bucket of sh*t? :)

Rather more seriously for that film you could use:

Which film does the title song vocalist also appear in a small role?

    or

Which film has a cameo from Roger Moore's daughter?
  • Quoting saunders: Which film does the title song vocalist also appear in a small role?
Technically, Sheena Easton appeared in FYEO :P
  • How many times did he do his I've done a cool Bond thing tie shake?

    or

And how many times did he go to the loo?

    @luds You just did
  • Q- What was the worst official Bond soundtrack?

A- Except for the title track, which indeed is smoky and sultry and conjures thoughts of the classic themes sung by Shirley Bassey, Goldeneye by a million miles.

Sorry to sound harsh, but trivia deal with facts, not opinions. Even if you aren't being serious, this thread doesn't serve as an excuse to post about how bad you think Brosnan's films were.
  • Besides, the GE soundtrack was infinitely better than the rest of the Brosnan films', bar TND.
