I got hired to be BATMAN at an event! *NEW* Pics inside!
At the Jewish Museum in Baltimore, they had the whole place decked out comic-style to celebrate the Golden Age of comics and the Jewish history surrounding it
They wanted a Batman to be there and I got hired on the recommendation of my good friend from college! Not being Jewish, I had little idea about what the show was for, but I learned a lot while I was there.
If there was one negative thing it would be the logo on my chest-- you see I only had a day's notice and on the phone they said they had a 'store bought' costume and they didn't sound too excited about it. I mentioned that I had bits and pieces from Halloween's past that I could bring in. So the costume you're looking at is all my own; only I had to spring for some Under Armour shirt & pants, and in a rush we had to simply put a paper logo on with double sided tape; it even fell off near the end! :D
But good fun all the same! Pretty easy work for a paid gig- and the kids reactions were priceless-- especially the little Spider-Man! He was awesome and totally in character!
I wish I could find the GIF from The Simpsons where Chief Wiggum unbuttons his shirt and his stomach just explodes all over the table, because that's exactly what I did as soon as I was done! :D

I was once at a theatre showing Superman II in my Superman costume, but that was for free since it was during a SF convention... :))

It's my responsibility and duty as a caring and loving father to make sure he grows up as a fan of Bond, Batman and the like. I owe it to my son to educate him in the many important things in life!

Another cool item they had was that comic of Captain America punching Hitler-- everyone's seen the picture, but it sure was cool seeing the actual comic!
Well to be honest I didn't need to talk much at all-- lots of 'Batman can we take a picture with you?' 'Sure.' But when I did talk, I was Eastwood all the way!!
I love the one with the boy and his dad; they said 'Smile Batman!' and I said 'I AM.' :D
