Thing is, very few of the drama programmes people watch I actually like (read: none) and so I always assume it's just going to be ANOTHER one I don't like.
I don't like Heroes, Lost, etc etc. So after a while you stop trying!
Am kicking myself for not trying this one sooner, but if half the TV that was on wasn't so like.. braindead and uninteresting maybe I wouldn't be so jaded xD
Or even... here.
I enjoyed Spooks greatly. They seemed to squeeze quite a lot out of what was probably a relatively low budget. And I really welcomed the way they would kill off central characters completely out of the blue - gave it a sense of jeopardy that's normally absent in situation thrillers.
They are all about discussing this show. Not too different.
Does it really matter if there's one thread from over a year ago that's similar? I just don't see what the fuss is about.
Anyway, I liked Spooks. Probably the best spy TV show and a good bit of fun. Also one of the few shows that dared to kill off major characters, the only thing I can think of atm which rivals it when it comes to that is Torchwood.
This is a James Bond forum, @hoppimike! We're not going to keep a gazillion threads about Spooks running; even if they are 'slightly' different.
