We don't know anything about them yet, give them a chance ;)
It actually makes a lot of sense, sir. This is the way of the comic books too, you see. I like having various takes on the material, various styles, various aesthetics, various levels of 'class'... Some days I feel like watching the Burton Batman, some days I feel like watching the Nolan Batman, some days I prefer one of the animated features and yes, there are days when I feel like watching the unspeakable. ;-)
Dan Dan Daaaan
With the right marketing they will
I wouldn't want to use The Joker so much so that he "out-stays his welcome", so to speak. Besides, I do agree with @Risico007 that a lesser-known and less publicized villain needs to have the spotlight in any upcoming Batman movie. As he had stated, it is time for the likes of The Mad Hatter, Clayface, or Man-Bat to take the throne.
I'd love to see them use The Killing Joke, including the point where Joker
Man, there's so much stuff in the Batman universe to go with. Batman Beyond, however, is where I draw the line. I only care about the Bruce Wayne Batman.
Shame the new incarnation of my namesake isn't doing that. It was hilarious :))
Detective Comics #38 April 1940 says hi.
But on a serious note I very much agree with you. I like my batman as a sole character where the attention doesn't stray onto his side kicks. He works best alone and I think Nolan has done an impeccable job realizing this and translating it onto the big screen.
Highlight of TDK are some remembers to Batman include the part of Gary Oldman. Joker whas over-rated because of the death of the actor but better then expect.
Screentime is the biggest problem of the movie and Batman feels not like Batman. Not having Katie Holmes made Maggie Gylenhaal her part worse whyle it isn't her fault.
Harry Potter 2 is 162 minutes and if TDKR fix the problems of TDK (Who is Boring/dificult to follow story/to dark/missing 1 or 2 action scene's and more humor.) then the also the 164 minutes should not be a problem. But it have been better if TDKR have been even long like Batman Begins.
I whas happy there not yuse a earlier yused villian for Begins.
Batman Begins be better with
On this moment i hope there wil not be another Batman franchise again but a 4th movie with the promised Riddle or/and better Return of The Joker with his assistent.
But iam afraid it wil be reboot, there is already imdb page and Darren Aronofsky as remour directer. IF that be the case i hope on the riddle, the only exeption of a earlier yused villian i don't mind if it not be villian in the first place.
Casting:
Matthew Goode http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0328828/ as The Riddle
Drew Barrymore as Harley Quinn
John Cena http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1078479/ as The Joker. First iam thinking about Marc Whalberg as best follow up.
Wait, what? :|
Bane: "You are beaten! Beg for mercy! Scream my naaaaaaaaammmmeee!!!!"
Batman: "Never!"
Legendary moment from The Animated Series.
Ah yes, I have wondered why old Hugo hasn't gotten a starring role in a Batman movie yet! After all, he is the only adversary of The Caped Crusader to have figured out that Bruce Wayne is Batman!
In the older comics, it tended to happen more often. Also, Ra's figured it out pretty quickly during their first confrontations in '71. ;-)
He was with Talia after all...
I will give Jim Lee credit. He can draw the ladies. Nobody in his comics is below a C cup it seems! :))
Have you played the recent two video games, sir? Even Harley is quite the hottie and I feel downright guilty for saying that.
(No, Joker, please, I was just ... PLEASE GOD NO!!!!)
Yes, I adore them. And Catwoman needs to contact her tailor, as she isn't getting a proper use out of that zipper! ;)
