The world has truly gone bonkers.
Justin Bieber would be bonkers, Pattinson is a smart choice a popular actor who can act very well. He can do the Bruce Wayne character and wearing the suit we will find out.
Smart choice commercially, and whatever choice the fanboys and girls will always be moaning.
I'm getting mixed feelings. I hope that some of those villains we haven't seen before.
I agree with much of this article. Not necessarily saying I'd never want to see a new Batman movie ever again, but I wish it would take a long break (earned after Nolan's TDK trilogy IMO) at least.
I disagree with it almost entirely and fundamentally on the basis that there's lots of Batman material that has never been on the big screen. We don't need another origin story or a Batman/Joker film. There's plenty of room for something new, just like there is with each Bond film after 24 of them.
There hasn't been a good Batman film since 2008. He doesn't need a break, he just needs to stop falling back on his crutches.
Mmmmm... have you read "Holy Terror"? That was originally intended as a Batman story. I wasn't all that impressed with Miller's direction of The Spirit either. I thought the full title of the movie was "Will Eisner's THE SPIRIT"... and it should have been "Frank Miller's THE SPIRIT." As far as I was concerned, the television version starring Sam Jones was closer to Eisner's work than was Miller's film (and I'm not a huge fan of the TV version.) I've long been a fan of FM's work but he's definitely got his own take on stuff, and in my opinion should concentrate on his own creations rather than adapting someone else's work, either on the page or in live action.
Anything Giger designs is worth seeing. Weird but cool!
Excellent point! :)
Yes, it does. But to be fair, most of them do.
