I will weep with you. Man, they don't make them like they used to.

A excellent piece of work for Batman fans of the series.
You're kiddding?!?! I have the exact same book!! It's in my room on my bookshelf!!! I agree, it is quite excellent! In fact, I had this book before I had all the episodes on DVD, and it was like the guide/blueprint for the series to me!
When I saw it on the shelf in the shop I said "oh, now @00Beast has to have this!". I love what I have seen so far, and love one of the foldouts that shows the episode titles for each episode of the original run.

Christian Bale’s former online publicist and producing partner Harrison Cheung says in a new interview he’s heard Taylor Kitsch’s (“Battleship”) name come up in regards to possibly playing the next Batman.

figure i would post it here unsure if it's for Justice league or Batman reboot or both
With the way John Carter went, I don't see it happening. They will pick someone bankable, a household name. Kitsch is still small fry.
Tamahori I don't think is that bad. The Edge was a pretty good film, and I thought The Devils Double was brilliant. I think alot of blame for DAD has to go to the writers.
Schumaucher is evil and I want Tim Burton and Chris Nolan to beat the sh*t out of him.
earth one was very good I liked it. I felt the birthday boy was the best new villian this year.
Scott Snyder writes an awesome Batman, gritty, gothic and actionpacked!
*JEALOUS*
Sorry it too me so long to answer this, school recently started back and I was a little busy what with the new year and all that. Anyway, I do not believe so. I have all four volumes which include all 85 BTAS episodes and all 24(?) TNBA episodes, but these are all on DVD. I believe they sell the first one at Target and Wal-Mart right now, but the others are harder to find now that they've been released for a while. Any used video/CD store should carry them though.
What a cool idea! The Avenger's Cap suit may have looked silly, but turn it into Batman and I think we've really got something!
Nolan's films are high concept, but that's about it IMO. Good for what they attempted, but not the ingeniously twisted ride that Burton's films are.
By "ingeniously twisted ride" do you mean an utterly repulsive representation of the greatest comic book hero of all time along with the cadres of villains that fill his world until you end each film asking "was this supposed to be a Batman film?" If so, then yes, the Burton Batman films are that. I'll stick with Nolan, who actually read the comics and knows what Batman should and shouldn't do down to the point that he was able to construct the best comic book films we've seen yet. Burton doesn't read the comics, and Batman and Batman Returns make that so very evident.
