  Wow! Seems Year 2020 is set to resurrect a new trend in Hollywood....The release of The Extended or Director's Cut of Older Films.
  
  Maybe the Lockdown may have prompted studios to go back into their Archives.

  I'm not opposed to that. The extended/ultimate cuts/editions (whatever they call it) of BvS and SS were surprisingly good. BvS is three hours long in the ultimate edition, but many of the problems the theatrical cut had are now fixed. Even SS, which I'm still not entirely warm on, has improved somewhat with its extended cut. I'm interested in seeing what the JL Snyder cut looks like.
  
  Several of the theatrical cuts of these movies seem to have been "studio mandates". I prefer the director's vision.

  It's a pretty fun film. I bet it's not much darker though, I think he knew the film he was making.

  The problem is going back, while also moving forward with a lot of different projects, and then also exploring a completely separate Batman universe that wasn't even part of this DCEU until now - I guess. I'm happy to be proved wrong but it seems problematic. I think it's why I'm so onboard with Reeves/Pattinson. It's a clean slate with no "multiverse" or "sequel" baggage. And I think that's what helped Joker too. This is their sweet spot. All this new stuff they're doing really isn't (for me anyway). Sorry to be negative haha :D

  I don't loathe Snyder's work, but I don't think the release of his JL cut would really impress critics. As his style and films are not critic-friendly. But still, am looking forward to it....But what am also looking forward to, is Junkie XL'S score. I loved the new Batman theme and Sound he gave to Batfleck, and I was eager to hear more of it in JL. But we ended up getting Danny Elfman's score which I don't really like. Except one track which is this:

  The Batman will reportedly resume filming in September. However, all location shooting is reportedly scrapped and everything will be built & shot in studio going forward.
  
  This would make it the first Batman movie to be mostly shot in studio since Batman & Robin.

  Very surprising. In a way you'd think location shooting would be safer as there'd be less building etc. but then again I suppose crew trucks and so on make things difficult.

  He wrote a few screenplays, like Car Wash (1976) with George Carlin. I would have supported him doing his own stories in his Batman universe. Not many of his Bat-characters died. He definitely could do dark, gothic material, (The Lost Boys (1987) and Falling Down (1993).

  Super hyped about Gotham knights definitely will pick up an Xbox one now because of it as for the pics I had heard we are getting a teaser today so I presume the photos are from that as for my opinion on them meh I am on the fence... I will likely watch the trailer later tonight as I am going to a drive in movie this evening
