I love that Playmobil's official blurb for the toy on that page starts off with a reference to the punk track by Spizzenergi! :D

What was the plot?
It has been reported that the script is a feature film adaptation of this classic episode: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Piece_of_the_Action_(Star_Trek:_The_Original_Series) So basically it would be a 1920s gangster film with the Star Trek characters.
If Tarantino hadn’t walked off and kept on the project I might have given it a chance because Tarantino at least earned it. Plus I was rooting for Tarantino to inject something fresh for the films, especially given how unusual it is for him to do a franchise film. But since he’s a Trek nerd, I expect he knows his stuff.
Oh well.
I’ve always thought that they should have saved that script for a feature film , but instead of the Enterprise C it would have been the Enterprise A wit Kirk and company. It would have been a great way to combine the two generations.
Well researched, a good watch for fans of the film. I love this film.
I don't think I've said enough about how much I'm loving LOWER DECKS.

I think I'll watch "The Man Trap" to mark the occasion - as I do most years.
One More Thing: This is still one of the most inspiring openings for a TV program....ever!!!
