    Had to look it up. It was alright I guess. It did remind me of the original Tomb Raider game a bit.

    It's so chilling and ominous to me, perfectly sets the mood and the scene. It might not be amped up and fun like Barry's tracks, and it's definitely not something I'd be whistling to myself, but it's a lovely track nevertheless.

    I think a few of Newman's ambient Tracks were good in both films but I think he did a poor job with the action sadly.

    SF's score was great imho. SP's was rubbish.

    Most of his action tracks were entirely forgettable, which is a shame.

    Do you have a source for this? I've only seen articles that state the producers hated his score. Why would they ask Serra back when they had to pay another composer to re-score the tank chase?

    @Creasy47, I knew that was coming! I almost wanted to end my comment with that caveat.

    There are recycled tracks sure, but the parts that aren't recycled are what I liked best about SF's score. Shanghai Drive, New Digs, The Chimera, Severine, Tennyson, Welcome to Scotland etc. are all excellent imho. I really like The Moors in SF too because it's only 2.39 minutes in the earlier film and not more like 20 minutes of endless drone as it is in SP.

This is a different film!”

    The Broccoli family was a bit baffled by what Eric was giving them. So everyone was a bit wary.

    All I remember is Michael Wilson saying “IF I’D KNOWN YOU WERE THIS QUICK I’D GIVEN YOU THE WHOLE FILM.” (John Altman).

    I doubt Serra was asked back.

    My compliments on that list @ToTheRight. We fundamentally differ on GF, TLD & AVTAK (which I have significantly lower) and GE, QoS & TMWTGG (which I have quite a bit higher). Still, not bad at all.

    Yes, I think most people have a pretty firm top 10 or 5. I always am surprised by how many people rank LALD/FYEO and sometimes TLD very close together in and around the #'s 10 to 15 spots.

    It's been a year since I've done this. Last time I ranked them totally objectively, and this time it's half objective, half (or maybe more) on my enjoyment of them. Most notably, SP moves way up.

    I think it's almost pointless to try and rank all the Bond movies because really how much I like one over another would depend on my mood and what I'm more interested in at the time. For sure I would know what my top 3 or 5 are and what my bottom 3 are. Those have never changed unless a new Bond film comes out and takes a spot.
