Wow! TND at #9 with LTK, CR and From Russia With Love at #'s 10, 12 and 13 respectively? DAD and DAF are 16 and 17, with Thunderball at #19 and even more alarmingly, Skyfall in dead last at 24? Furthermore, while I like Octopussy, you have also placed it above LTK, CR and FRWL by placing it eighth.

The first 13 films in my ranking are 10 out of 10 films for me. @007ClassicBondFan

FRWL is amazing. But so are the 12 I have in front of it. It's really crowed up there and it's quite difficult to rank the films from No 7 to No 13.
Maybe FRWL is the least fun to watch for me of those.
That group of 13 is pretty much cemented though, the order may change every now and then. It was "the perfect 12" for me for a decade, but SPECTRE barged into that group haha...

Id say my top 5 are all 10/10.

    My top 5 ranking would go;

    1) FRWL
    2) OHMSS
    3) GE
    4) DN
    5) GF

In fact, I'd even go so far as to say those top 5 are my favorite films of all time. It was hard ranking SPECTRE for me, on one hand it was a solid Bond film that I think payed homage to the classic films of the 60's and 70's. On the other hand there are just more Bond movies that I would rank higher.

Spectre was my No 1 for at least half a year, I love that film and have seen it 13 times at the cinema. But of course I knew I would eventually be able to rank it more accurately, so now it is where it belongs.
It's also not possible to rank Craig before Connery in a ranking, as Craig pales in comparison.
Moore, Brosnan, Dalton and Lazenby had their own Bond identity.
With Spectre the current era is actually saved for me, as it is highly enjoyable and pure entertainment in the best Bond tradition of the nineties and earlier.

My thoughts are one in the same. I felt like everything that we saw from CR to SF was really the build up to the classic Bond we all know and love, and SPECTRE really cemented that for me. That being said the film does have some flaws for me, but overall I find it an enjoyable film and certainly a contender to be a classic Bond movie.

I also love The Living Daylights and would rank it very highly as well. You definitely have a much higher opinion of Tomorrow Never Dies relative to the rest of the series than I do though.

@IGotTheMessage You made me watch Never Say Never Again. I would place it in the bottom three, probably below Thunderball. I give it points for creativity for the action sequences, and it's mostly watchable apart from a few C-movie special effects. It doesn't have the same "Bond spark" of the EON movies (the last 3 official movies lack it too), the score is atrocious, and I feel the casting is off from the main characters to the extras. The locations are also not given the attention they deserve (eg compare the Bahamas with Thunderball). The plot is better thought out than Thunderball (and it better since Mcclory had decades to think about it)

The main problem I have with Thunderball is the pacing, otherwise it beats NSNA on every level, therefore I place NSNA below TB. The question is now: is it better than QOS or TWINE?

In summary, I feel NSNA looks, feels like a B-movie whereas some of the EON movies feel like B-movies but look and sound like A-movies, and that's due to the different creative forces behind them.

NSNA is far more enjoyable for me than TWINE. Connery alone makes sure of that.

I'd put QoS ahead of it however.

With SP, I'd have to think long and hard about it. I prefer watching NSNA, but SP at least has an 'A' movie feel.

It is too bad that you didn't like NSNA better than you did. I agree with you that it is certainly not a great Bond film, but it does seem as though I like it a bit better than you did.

@IGotTheMessage still waiting for your ranking! To be fair, NSNA is not as atrocious or as much of an insult than I thought...but I can't feel an emotional connection to it, it's down to the score and casting
