    I now tend to watch the Bonds in my "Cinema Room" . I call it that because
    the floor is sticky, and someone talks through the film ! :D

    Yup, we've had solid Bond since last year which is never a bad thing. (I can hear my wife tut tutting "Are you watching this AGAIN?"

    I know. All part of itv's new Sunday movie night.... Mrs Coop hates itv4 she can't understand how I manage to find a bond film to watch all the time....I've explained that the programmer on itv4 is a man of exceptional taste. :D

    It may be over egging though seeing as there's only a 24" TV in the corner! I have been looking at buying a new set for that room. I'm thinking 50 or 55".

    I'm packing 50 inches, and have to say. I've had much enjoyment from it :D
    Movies look fantastic, and if you add a souud bar, it's even better.

    No one likes a bragger....your better endowed than me, I've got 43" in the lounge and a 40" in the bedroom, but most my bond viewing occurs in the Kitchen on a 32" I've tried to pull the "I bought the tvs so I'll watch what I like" but the stepdaughter takes over the lounge with some Netflix and Mrs Coop exercises her brainpower with the soaps in the bedroom.
    In fact she would have some buddies on the bond forums as she called qos a load of crap last night!!!! I've been to seek legal advice!

    I'm not a big fan of sport, but the Euros looked great on the bigger screen, the wide angle shots from the sweeping camera were amazing. I too have lost control of the
    main TV. even the kitchen TV gets taken from me at times. Hence why the Big Telly
    in My study is " For My Eyes Only" ;)
    Next time, I'm going bigger again. films look brilliant on bluray on it, and I can have
    it as loud as I like, usually it's " turn that down, those explosions will wake the dead "

    Haters gonna hate, but this film is seriously underrated. Great fun, the Best Bond film since Casino Royale.

    Watched The Man With The Golden Gun last night, continuing a little summer Bond-marathon. Being the first Bond movie I saw, it's always fun to rewatch TMWTGG, but you're always reminded why it will never rank high on most of our favourite lists. The plot is good enough, the problem however, boils down to Goodnight and Nick Nack. Nick Nack is just annoying and unnecessary comedic relief, and Goodnight is a danger to herself and everyone around her.

    Moore's good in this one, though. That scene with Lazar is one of the highlights if you ask me. One of Rog's best scenes.

    Agreed. All in all (MR aside) I'm a fan of the Rog tenure.

    Followed TMWTGG with Live And Let Die this evening. Unlike TMWTGG, this is one that gets better with every viewing. Although the novel is far better, I enjoy every second, it's great score and good acting perfomances. Funny how Moore's films during the 70's reflects the different genre crazes throughout the decade.

    I finally managed to complete my quest of watching all 4 Brosnan outings in one day. However I saw them in reverse order (DAD-TWINE-TND-GE). I must say it is one hell of an epic ride. Brosnan is a legend. Lots of globetrotting. Fantastic soundtracks (even GE, can"t imagine the film without it, and I love the awesome usage of the Bond theme by Arnold at every chance he gets), splendid action scenes (highlights: all 4 PTS's, the tank chase, Bond vs 006, escape from Mishin interrogation, Hamburg office break in/out, car chase, bike vs helicopter chase, stealth boat climax, ski vs parahawks, Caviar factory, ice car chase and sword fight). A large bunch of sexy women (highlight: Natalya!). Very addictive films as they go by so fast

    It's been way to long since I've seen one of the Brosnan films. @DaltonCraig007 How was it to watch the films in reverse order? Sometimes one can feel a bit different with the films with the order you see them.

    @Torgeirtrap It's really an interesting experience. You start with very assured Brosnan and finish with rookie Brosnan, the women improve each film (start with Jinx, end with Natalya), the amount of action is the same either way (traditional way the action packed are films #2 (TND) and #4 (DAD), here it's #1 and #3), you have the modern Barry-esque Arnold soundtrack before the experimental Serra OST. Some things are quite strange, as Jack Wade and Bond are good friends in TND, but then you see them meeting for the first time in the following film, Zukovsky dies (and has a cane) and then is all OK 2 films later). IMO the MP scenes improve in this order (Samantha Bond was fantastic in GE, less so in DAD). Interesting that you have the 3 gadget laden Bond cars before finishing with the car where no gadgets are used.

    @DaltonCraig007 Interesting! Always felt that Brosnan got better with every film. Must try the reverse order viewing one day. Also, I've always had difficulty ranking the Brosnan films up against each other (with the exception of DAD). Watching the films in reverse order might shine light to some new opinions on GE/TND/TWINE.

    Spent last night continuing TMWTGG with The Spy Who Loved Me. I've always liked the scale of this one, with it's large sets. That scene inside The Liparus must be one of the best executed battle scenes in the series, and, in my opinion better than the one in YOLT. It also must be one of Rog' best performances, if not the best.

    @Birdleson. I don't mind Nick Nack himself but the scuffle fight between him and Rog at the end is embarrassing.
