This is such a cool poster!
Also, Elle Fanning is set to star in the next film in the Predator universe, Badlands:

Love that poster!
I do believe that's a challenge.
I do believe that I have just accepted it.
I do believe that I shall let you know how I felt about it. ;-)
I do believe I am very excited to hear your thoughts on it. Don't even bother looking up a plot synopsis, just...begin.

I have yet to see the film, but I'm at least happy to read in your post that MaXXXine is still good if not great. To me, that's a victory for Ti West. My biggest fear, in truth, was that the third film would end up bad. Good but somewhat disappointing is something I can live with, considering how strong both X and Pearl are.
How was Longlegs?
Very, very good! It wasn't the perfect masterpiece I was hoping it'd be - not enough Cage, with an underwhelming ending that was exposition city and also a sort of genre twist that I didn't particularly like - but still very, very creepy and atmospheric. The blocking, the cinematography, the sound design were all top notch and made the trip to the theater worth every penny.
I read this morning it's the most successful indie release in theaters over the last decade. Very impressive!
Nice! I had a lot of interest, though I may wait until a home release before I see it. I limit my theater trips because of the cost, and I’m wanting to go see Alien Romulus this upcoming month and marathon the others.
That's a very smart choice. I've been trying to rewatch them all as well before Romulus releases, I want to go see that one opening weekend.
Posting this just because I thought of it and it’s one of my favorite moments of any horror movie. Best small detail is the antenna sticking out of Freddy’s head.
