Who would have thought that GE would be top of the leader board, against such competition as DN, TB, TLD and DAD.

Wow. Wasn’t expecting this. I think this has been the first that GF has come out on top, especially regarding DN. The quintessential formula Bond picture has done well on the formula game. Who would have thunk it?

Thunderball beating Goldfinger by a hair is something that would have been unthinkable to me until my most recent rewatches of both where they kind of flipped somewhat in my estimation. The biggest anomaly on my list remains Dr. No, which is actually a top 5 Bond flick for me but I don’t think it’ll cut it in this categorization ranking.

    My votes so far:

    Goldeneye 88,66%
    The Living Daylights 78,66%
    Quantum of Solace 76,66%
    Dr. No 75,33%
The Man With The Golden Gun 74,00%

    Spectre 64,00%
    Goldfinger 62,66%
    Die Another Day 56,00%
    Thunderball 51,33%

Stil i prefer TMWTGG above Dr. No and QOS in my ranking order it acualy be 11th place, two places under TLD (9th). QOS is my favorite Daniel Bond movie but actualy rolling between 14, 15 or 16th with Dr No ranked 17th. Both movies scores high on the Bond notes. Rewatching, humor, music, drama-emotionaly, originaly ideas, country chooses, plot, overall feeling about or around can make the difrence. I only watched Die Another Day 5-6 times in a whole since 2003.

Back to Goldfinger, i prefer Moonraker a litle bit more those days and a lot people know i am big fan of AVTAK who have what i mis with Goldfinger. Even i think Thunderball have more humor and exotic locations and feel less dry then GF, both with very low pacing. Two times in row not liking the villian (iam talking about Largo here), the pacing and music. For me it is step back after first two movies. Stil whyle i don't like it Goldfinger that Bond stick to long on GF farm and even moments in Dr No feels like a drag by times, i like to see a Bond movie in future where Bond stick a bit longer around then those days (Another finger to disapointed lair use of Spectre and QOS)
