Still, I'm glad Dr No is at the top spot. I think it's great.
I watched GF yesterday and I was surprised how much I loved Blackman's performance.
It's just little things like-
Bond-"You know, he kills little girls like you"
Pussy-"Little boys too."
Tell me @MayDayDiVicenzo what was your rating on GF?
I will always continue to defend Goldfinger for the artistic genius that it is. I rank it very highly (it came second in my most recent ranking of all the films, only behind OHMSS). I also agree with your view on Goldfinger, Oddjob and Pussy, nothing can get more Flemingesque than those three.
I was surprised that Goldfinger came in at 80.7%, I thought it would have been higher. I think GF falls slightly with its pacing, however.
Strangely, I thought GF would rule - it always seems to well on these type of tests.
What was the most surprising aspect of others peoples ratings?
Oh, the music category for sure. A Barry score coming in at 4! Sacrilege! I love the score for GF, especially "the raid on Fort Knox" and that fantastic piece that plays during Oddjobs visit to a scrapyard.
Difficult question, but it has to be Pussy, the music and the sets (inside Fort Knox is a masterpiece, a set that defines Ken Adams contributions to James Bond).
Do you give litle hint to next one X_X
Don't worry @M_Balje, I'll be starting the next film up tomorrow.
GoldenEye
/10
1. Direction - 8 (effective, although the action scenes need a bit of trimming)
2. Screenplay - 8 (minus mark for the bit where the Severnaya staff are mucking about)
3. Script - 9 (the script balances out the fantasy of the plot, allowing the film to have a bit of introspection)
4. Plot - 7

Hmm, not bad.
Let's see where GoldenEye compares with my own scores;
DN - 87.3%
GF - 86%
SF - 84.6%
MR - 73.3%
Curiously that is not too dissimilar a score to MR, even though GoldenEye is much higher on my rankings

11. Cinematography - 7 (After i think 14 views or so and years later, the cinematopgraphy lose a bit/made the movie slower. )
12. Fleming - 8 (Movie is named to Fleming's house and a lot of reference to old Bond elements like Shaken Not Stirred.)

Plausibility is low, but those days Plausibility if you ask me to high. I not expect something difrent from Daniel Craig era. Low Plausibility (les belieavaible/more humor) are great power of Goldeneye.
The movie is made with a lot of love. The Supporting cast be amazing. Albert R Broccoli, Derek Meddings and Michael France RIP. ^:)^
That it is. That it is.
Anymore voters out there?
So Eric Serra receives a much higher score than John Barry? X_X

How you personally feel about the film, from 1-5.
2. Screenplay - 9.
3. Script - 10. One of the best in the series. So many great lines, very sophisticated, clever stuff.
4. Plot - 9.
5. Action - 10.
6. Main Villain - 10.
7. Main Bond Girl - 10.
8. Bond - 4. Lots of wooden and uninspired bits. Brosnan is the only sub-8/10 thing about the movie. "Russian failsafe system. You don't just walk in and ask for the keys to the booooomb."
9. Sets - 8.
10. Music - 8. I've always loved Serra's score. There are some awkward moments which knock him down a few points ("Jerry Was a Racecar Driver" "Ladies First" is one of the worst pieces in the series) but overall the highlights ("GoldenEye Overture", "Whispering Statues", "Run, Shoot, and Jump") are some of the best bits of score we've ever seen in Bond.
11. Cinematography - 8.
12. Fleming - 9. I LOVED the use of Fleming's estate for the title, as well as the backstory about Bond's parents. Bond going against a fellow 00 seems like something Fleming would've written had he done a few more books. It's only a 9 here because I'll be giving 10s to CR, TLD, and probably LTK and I don't want to dilute the 10 rating.

13. Supporting Cast - 5. Best supporting cast in the series.
14. Main Titles - 5. Second only to Casino Royale's.
15. Plausibility - 3. Admittedly some of the material is a bit far-fetched.
16. Pace - 5. This movie flows excellently.
17. Editing - 4.
18. Tilt - 5. What a masterpiece.

Seems about right to me. If Dalton had done this one, though, we'd be looking at six extra points here which would've brought it to 90.67. Oh well.
