"That's one trick I've never learned, perhaps you'll show me how it's done."
Gotta mix it up however you can. Give that in-depth listing method of watching a Bond film a try, see if you enjoy it.
Which film was that and how did it change your view? Not for the better, I bet.

It's not that I dislike the film, I quite enjoy it but compared to all the other films, It's pretty weak. It suffers from pacing issues and has a lot of scenes that go nowhere or serve no point. And every other time I watch it I get drowsy. It's not a bad film by any means but it's just weak. Blofeld is horrendously wasted and his reveal is such a let down after so much build up. If the movie removed some of the useless scenes and built up Blofeld more and had Bond and him meet a good 20 to 30 minutes earlier to have a better final confrontation it would be higher on my list.
Yes it is rather fascinating and fun. I've been enjoying Moore's films so much this year.
23? Yikes.
Posted that overly-long list of thoughts, big and small, I typed up as I watched the movie over in the 'Last Bond Movie You Watched?' thread. Overall: didn't think it'd rate that lowly, but like I said, the more I've seen this one and the novelty has worn off, the more problems are revealed. Never thought I'd have two Craig's ranking below DAD, but it is what it is. Obviously, Mendes isn't for me, though there's a lot more here for me to "enjoy" than SF has.

Thank you. SF, you mean?
Casino Royale
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
Licence to Kill
From Russia With Love
For Your Eyes Only
Quantum of Solace
The Living Daylights
The World Is Not Enough
Diamonds Are Forever
There have been times when I have felt maybe I over praise From Russia With Love, but then I sit down and watch it. And I remember why it is one of the best (if not the best) Bond film. It hardly puts a foot wrong. Such a wonderful spy thriller.
Ranking thus far...
1. From Russia With Love
2. The Spy Who Loved Me
3. Thunderball
4. For Your Eyes Only
5. GoldenEye
6. Licence To Kill
7. You Only Live Twice
8. Skyfall
9. Diamonds Are Forever
10. The Man With The Golden Gun
11. Moonraker
12. Die Another Day
13. Tomorrow Never Dies
14. A View To A Kill
15. Quantum Of Solace
After the wonderful Casino Royale, Quantum was a poor follow up. Craig is fine, but the arty direction from Forster has no place in a Bond film imo.
Perhaps if I viewed it after CR, then I might change me mind a little. I've never liked the super fast editing style, or the story though. Can't see it making much of a move up the rankings.
I've still got nine films to go, so the final tally may look different to this. But I have been shocked by some of the films as far as enjoyment and moving up the ranks have gone.
GE, DAF and DAD for example.
One of the joys of being a long time Bond fan I suppose, no matter how often you watch them, you can always see something different in them. Or get a renewed appreciation for films over time.
I often wondering if I over praise FRWL too much, but then I sit down watch the film, and no. An unadulterated joy for me from start to finish. FRWL, GF, OHMSS and CR transcend the medium - i.e. more than just a mere Bond films - and are real art forms.
I feel the film kind of unravels at the end, which is always a bit disappointing for me. Same with CR. That being said they are both in my top 5. Dr No and GF and both strong from start to finish in my eyes.
The airport is my favourite bit, besides the card game. I love the slow build, how it progresses from thriller into full blown action. Very natily done.
Have to agree on the airport scene. It starts off very well with bond tailing Carlos, but the truck chase just feels okay. Definetly prefer the Parkour Chase and the fight with Obanno.
You and I both. The tailing part is very good, and I love Bond's jump onto the truck, but it gets a bit stale after that.
Very inventive, along with the "House collapse" at the end, like several
