Seconded. After they mess about with Blofeld, the Spangs should be up next maybe for a new Bond actor to tackle.

I agree that they are rather boring and colorless. I like the idea of two brothers as the main villains but they would really need to flesh them out. Better to turn them into something Berlusconi-esque than to go the tired Mafia route.

The mud bath scene is brilliant...that would work brilliantly on screen...

Does anyone think that for the next Bond film they could bring The Spangled Mob into it from the novel DAF ? it would be interesting to see Bond dealing with the mob in the USA and other locations.

It would also give Felix a chance to have a bigger, more influential part,to help Bond tackle Jack and Seraffimo Spang.

This is genuine overlooked Fleming material that has not been used ,and i think it would be perfect for a Daniel Craig 007 film.

    Comments ?

Great idea. Any unused Fleming material is a 100% yes from me. Gala Brand should be the unused Bond girl too.

Something that I have been wondering of late is whether Seraffimo Spang in the DAF novel be classed as a dude?

    Thunderball is criminally underrated.

The book and the film. Both class.
