    A scary thought, this. I hope the blame is no pinned on Bond. It seems films are too good of a medium to ignore for ideas sometimes.

    Actually these kind of explosives have been in current military usage for more than 40+ years. The British Army has used PE4(more powerful than C4) for a number of decades. There were attempts at a few govt. officials where the suspects had explosives in a fountain pen, money belts and even heels of shoes. C4 and PE4 are normally off-white or beige in color and can be better camoflagued. Semtex is normally an orange/red color.
