Wasn't Bond on horseback in Moonraker?
Yes when the Magnificent Seven theme was playing. :)
You are of course most right, @Samuel001 (and @Murdock). I have amended my contribution to reflect this.
CR - Bond hides in a corridor and listens to a bug using an earpiece.
Sorry, I've gone and messed it up again. Should have read the rules! Apologies.
SF - Surprised couple on train platform.
The Living Daylights - Bond rides on horseback
Skyfall - battle involving a moving train
The Living Daylights - Bond has to disarm a bomb
The Living Daylights, Die Another Day - Bond has a fight in mid-air
The World Is Not Enough - Bond is involved with a hot air balloon
A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, Goldeneye, Die Another Day, Skyfall - a villain falls to their death from a great height
AVTAK- Both films end with Gogol in M's office inquiring as to Bond's whereabouts wanting to thank him for a job well done.
We're still only looking at unique connections between two films (only). However I think it's true to say that AVTAK and GE are the two films in which the main villain falls to his death; the others are lesser characters.
SF - Blonde villain
Goldeneye: Sex-crazed henchwoman with seemingly great physical streangth.
AVTAK-TSWLM: In the PTS, Bond's method of escape has a Union Jack on it (parachute; iceberg sub)
THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS
LTK - Dalton as Bond.
LICENCE TO KILL
SF - Signature gun
Can anyone link anything else from Dalton's two outings to a later Bond film in the series?
QOS - Bond is involved in a chase on some rooftops
Goldeneye, Casino Royale, QOS - Bond is featured in a restroom
License to Kill
Die Another Day - water skiing involvement
Skyfall - some kind of lizard involvement
The World Is Not Enough, Casino Royale - Bond searches for information on a computer
DAD- Bond's license to kill is taken away from him.
OP: 00 Agent is murdered.
DAD: Driving an Aston Martin on an icy lake. Features a scene in Q's lab. And Bond reuses a parachute.
GE: Bond wears black combat fatigues
LTK:
CR: A tanker is driven by Bond. Bond fights a baddie with a machete.
That's because, as explained many times already, the point is to find connections that are unique to two films in the series.
