The least discussed Bond film on MI6.

Which Bond film do you think is not discussed so much as the others,is more overlooked in threads and general discussion ?

For me,i think it's FYEO.
This film just doesnt get as much 'air time' on here as the others IMO,maybe as the villains arnt particularly memorable,or the score isnt Barry.

Which one do you think gets talked about the least here on MI6 ?

    The least discussed film is definitely YOLT imo. Skyfall is at the other end of the spectrum naturally.

    NSNA, simply because many members here don't class it as one.

    That is among the things being discussed about that film. And comparisons to TB/OP. Happens quite often is my impression. But say CR67, and I agree.

    I agree that CR67 is the least mentioned film, but I class that strictly as a 'Bond parody', not a 'Bond film'.

    Interesting, FYEO really doesn't get mentioned much here. Why is that? It's one of my favourites, and a good return to the more serious outings.

    Totally agree. It has gotten many mentions from me at least. Easily the best film between OHMSS and CR. Sits firmly at the magic no 7 spot in my rankings.
    As for YOLT-not so much to talk about. Not particularly good, and not particularly bad either. A middle of the road film.

    LALD I think is the least talked about. And when it is it seems that it is always in relation with sheriff Pepper and his subsequent role in Gun.

    Definitely NSNA, still think its more of a Bond film then CR'67 was.

    'The Simpsons Movie' is more of a Bond film than that absolute self-indulgent crapfest.

    It gets mentioned in all the wrong ways, unfortunately. There are plenty of discussions about the PTS and the ending but not enough about what is in between. Which is great in my opinion.

    Besides the non EON productions (CR 1954 is probably the least talked about) I think that TMWTGG might be the least talked about besides the odd comment about how terrible it is.

    FYEO was a very routine Bond film, a retread of snow and underwater action done more thrillingly in other Bonds. Doesn't excite much vitriol either for that matter.

    LALD doesn't get much talk, and I agree YOLT. They are the sort of films there's no point arguing about, you either like them or you don't.

    I think Dr. No is hardly ever discussed fully; I agree, @doubleoego. I do see good discussions mentioning FYEO, one of my favorites. YOLT is talked about because it was an obvious turning point.

    I don't see a lot of talk about LALD, which is interesting as it gave us Moore for the first time. More discussion of TMWTGG than LALD (perhaps due to Lee's fine performance; I am not sure).

    Yes, and I wonder why it is not discussed a lot. Too old? Maybe because it is more low key, doesn't have the iconic elements yet - yet it has wonderful Sean and certainly one of the most memorable Bond girls in Honey.

    I could tell you now, and take this opportunity, to tell you what the most talked about Bond movie is, and if no-one can recognize that, then please don't ask..

    Hint - It takes up some 95 per cent of all discussions on these pages, and hitherto doesn't have a title. Gets damn boring when nothing else to read or discuss except the same tired debate

    Other than that "minor" issue, would maybe pick You Only Live Twice as a neglected release. Yes there's a handful of starters on the film in question, but it very rarely gets discussed you maybe feel. Dr No is a good choice also, one of my favorite Bond titles, and have to give a mention to one or two other often neglected releases such as The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only, which are usually overlooked

    Most of the "So Okay, It's Average" Bond movies. Live and Let Die and For Your Eyes Only stand out. Octopussy and Tomorrow Never Dies are both fairly average, but the former benefits from discussion of Never Say Never Again and the latter is a Brosnan movie. Maybe when Craig leaves the role and Brosnan-bashing becomes a bit less trendy, it will be talked about less.

    Not sure about movie but the least discussed Bond is definitely Connery because pretty much everyone likes him. Moore, Brosnan, Dalton and Craig all have their fans and detractors, but there are no Connery bashers. I don't think anyone has ever said that he wasn't a great James Bond.

    I think the first four movies are discussed fairly a lot, although DN and FRWL not as much as they deserve to be. Brosnan's movies are discussed a lot because they are fairly more recent, Dalton's too, because of his short tenure. When it comes to it, and ironically because he was the longest serving Bond, but Moore's movies are less discussed, especially LALD.

    The thread is about the least discussed Bond film, not a debate on whether or not that film was good or not. That being said, just seeing Connery one more time in his signature role was something to watch. I didn't say I thought the film was good, how good can a remake really be?

    Obviously CR67. Too bad; I think it's an interesting project to examine behind-the-screens and one which actually provides some great moments too. It's not a good 'Bond film', by no means it is, but there's something about it that I find appealing nonetheless.

    The music is just awesome and Orson Welles, and the amount of gobsmacking beautifull women is staggering. And I always have a soft spot for Sir David Niven, and am sorry his Doctor Jason Love never became a movie franchise, the first one was excellent.
