    Riseborough is a strange one in terms of looks. She reminds me of Helena Bonham-Carter in many ways; a unique, often captivating face despite not being conventionally attractive.

    Great actress, too.

    Yeah. Exactly! It explains why she easily gets Sci-fi and Horror roles to showcase her ethereal quality. Maybe if EON want to cast a clairvoyant female villain for Bond 26, she would be perfect.

    Well I see that this is a male thread :)

    I have a couple of women I would think would be perfect for Bond. But they would be way too expensive because they are known names and they also would over shadow a new Bond (ie. James Norton). I would prefer an unknown actress and she has to have that classic 'brokenness' aura that the best Bond girls have. So don't cast an ex 'Prom Queen'.

    Not particularly, but admittedly the discussions about the acting qualities of the actresses have petered out somewhat lately. And, obviously, men are generally more interested in the next bond-girl.
    That said all suggestion are welcome and so is the discussion about their abilities. tbh I concur on the 'not an ex-prom queen' sentiment, dispite my post above..

    I think one actress who deserves to be in a future James Bond adventure is Sonoya Mizuno. She's a British actress born in Japan and about to star in House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones prequel. She's appeared in Fukunaga's Maniac, La La Land, Crazy Rich Asians, and Alex Garland's Ex Machina and Devs.

    Salma Hayek was a tough act to follow, but Eiza González managed to make me forget about her during those scenes. A truly remarkably beautiful woman.

    And, of course, she's not a bad actress by any means, either! She's been very solid in anything I've seen her in. A good shout!

    I have never watched From dusk Till Dawn the TV show though I should give it a watch. I have seen Gonzalez in a few movies.

    You are correct! She's also done songs that are more hip hop and pop.

    Some actresses that come to mind include Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim), Zoë Kravitz (The Batman, Big Little Lies), Emma Mackey (Sex Education), Gemma Chan (Crazy Rich Asians, Eternals), Lucy Boynton (Bohemian Rhapsody), Ella Balinska (Charlie's Angels), Clémence Poésy (In Bruges, Tenet), and Rose Byrne (Spy, Bridesmaids).

    They all look like good candidates. Of these eight, I'd like to see Jodie Turner-Smith, Emma Mackey, Gemma Chan, or Ella Balinska, in no particular order of preference. Lucy Boynton is nice too, but IMO comes too close to Lea Seydoux looks-wise.
