Great to see that the lovely Eva Green is bucking the trend well away from what might be called "The Curse of The Bond Girl".

Some news about Gemma Arterton :

As of october 2014, she'll be playing the lead in the musical "Made in Dagenham" at the Adelphi Theater in London. The play is based on the famous 1968 strike at the Ford plant which led to the equal pay act of 1970. The music is by David Arnold.

I hear that the Eva Green poster is being banned. I don't see anything wrong with it? C'mon America! Lighten up.

Yes, it was apparently banned by the MPAA "for nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown," yet the other posters featuring Jessica Alba dancing on a stripper stage and Mickey Rourke and Josh Brolin with firearms don't cause any amount of stir.

All I see when viewing Eva's poster is a beautiful woman that deserves to be appreciated, not censored. It has always amused me at how prude we can be about our own bodies. Quite laughable, really, that posters like this are banned when it's just showing off natural features on a woman, yet depicting violence is a-okay and more than accepted.

My theory: eroticism is more taboo than pornography.
Either way the MPAA always censors things that are very natural to humans like their sexualities and bodies. It just seems prudish and idiotic to me, especially when they'll let slurs and violence go very often. Not that I have a problem with the violence or language, I was just pointing out some of their illogical arguments.

I never got why they ban nudity or things natural like the human (female) body but in addition to the graphic, OTT violence they like to show people vomiting.
I don't know about you all but scenes like this make me sick and I want to puke.
How can something as beautiful as Eva Green's assets be "dirty" while someone puking their guts out is okay?

I've never understood it either. Beautiful women should be able to be appreciated, whether they're wearing a winter coat or a napkin. ;)
