“Global James Bond Day” takes place this Friday and to celebrate no fewer than seven Aston Martins from the long-running 007 film franchise will be in London for fans to spot.

Why would that be? Because of a couple of shortsellers? With a little bit of luck they'll be squeezed out soon enough.

& another from Car Magazine The Aston Martin estate Zagato shooting brakes Which could be in my clue as 007 Bond 25 mobile.

Only if needed. It's a pretty smart concept: an electric powertrain to replace the Original combustion engine when needed. But it can be converted back to the Original engine too. At least all the classics can stay on the road for the foreseable future.
Always love the zagatos, but this one, I don't know.
I would be devastated!!!
I don't see a long term future for Aston outside one of the big manufacturers. Ford seemed like a good fit tbh. That's when they had their renaissance in terms of the design and general perception of the brand.
I could see them also perhaps fitting into BMW alongside Rolls Royce. 2 premium but complementary brands. Or as part of Daimler who have struggled to make an impact in the super premium market.
As a stand alone marque their days are always going to be numbered.

Hope they'll still have it in 1 1/2 years, then I'll definately buy it!
