well, yeah! they better get on the move or they'll miss the Christmas '18 window.
1. If James Bond (the franchise) wants to stay relevant in today's entertainment marketplace, EON/Danjaq has to make moves like this, as well start becoming a presence at Comic Con. This might be why they are investigating a Bond universe (if rumors are true).
2. Bond is Bond and neither the character nor the film franchise needs any of this POP! and Comic Con stuff to stay relevant.
I thought Eon or whoever approved the licensing rights didn't go for things like this and tried to hold out for a different class of products. Or at least it used to be that way.
Bond is not the same kind of audience as Star Wars and Marvel and if they did open have a stall at Comic Con it would be empty as it's a totally different demographic.
Bond is aimed at people who appreciate fine cars, watches, food, drink and women not crappy plastic figures.
I dread to think what Fleming would think of these staggeringly naff dolls.
Well, according to Bleeding Cool, Funko have been asking for 12 years. Which begs the question, why now? What's changed?
@jackdagger, I now expect nothing less than to see Halle Berry herself holding one of the Jinx figures at a big release party at the Funko Pop offices, livestreamed the world over. There has to be some reason behind it! ;)
Well well well.... look who made a thread 3 years ago that became a reality!
F yeah! I can't see Craig on the picture but I see 2 variants of Moore and Connery... ..damnit now I must find a job so I can buy all of these :(
Also.... Jinx? JINX???? OUT OF ALL POTENTIAL CHARACTERS.....JINX???
So QoS one? Cool, I dig this! His hair/head looks weird kinda tbh, it doesn't give me Craig vibes but the suit/gun combo is great choice for a figurine
It's technically CR Craig, as QoS has him change his suit out of the blue.
True. DC never carried the rifle like that in QoS...only in the teasers. However, I do think he is wearing the same suit (at least colors) in the opening scene of QoS as the end of CR. It is dark blue with blue pinstripes, gray shirt, blue patterned tie.
There are color changes to each part of the suit, and the tailoring is very different on the whole, so the change is just jarring from a continuity perspective. If they'd put Bond in the vest he had on in CR to lead into QoS's opening, the disparity wouldn't be so immense.

The suit and overall tailoring is different, as we go from a Brioni suit to a Tom Ford design, so yes, the suits are indeed different. The tie color also varies, as does how Bond wears it, and there are even visible shifts in the color of the overall blue suit that I don't think is down to lighting.
A tux and a black suit can be the same color too, but does that make them the same exact suit?
(This really is trivial, so I'm leaving the discussion here)
