Living Daylights "Wicke" cap gun

I've recently purchased a box of old toys from an online toy auction.
Among them was a vintage cap gun from the movie "The Living Daylights".

It was made in West Germany (1986) by Wicke.

Toy is in excellent condition and comes with the original box.

I was looking to sell it online (eBay, Gumtree etc) but due to strict regulations about replica/ prop firearms it's proving difficult. I thought I'd maybe have better luck here on the forums.

    It breaks my heart to see all these awesome vintage PPKs floating around, knowing I'll probably never get to own one unless it's the slim chance I find one at a garage sale. That's how I got my P99 cap gun - which is cool and all, but it's not iconic like the PPK. Anyway, good luck with the sale, that's a real neat toy you have there. Where are you sending it from?

    That's a very nice piece, but it's from the olden days. Today it's fairly illegal since it has no permanently attached big orange nozzle in front.

    I guess that's why eBay won't let me list it even though it's obviously a toy gun.
    Not having the orange nozzle kind of limits the places where I can sell it.

    Yeah, it's all gone to crap. You can hardly even find fully bright-coloured toy guns there anymore. With this kind of toy, your best bet is to ask around near where you live, and sell it in person.

    Let us know if you get any other Bond toys, I'm always looking for something to add to the collection. :)>-

    I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I thought it stood any chance of arriving. The custom officer's kid would end up with it. :(

    £50 is just a rough estimate.
    I recall seeing one sell on eBay for £70. I have no idea how the seller managed to list it as it clashes with their strict guidelines for selling prop and replica firearms?

    Do you know if you're even able to ship toy guns overseas?
    I'm pretty sure everything gets x-rayed. One look at this going through and it'd set the alarms off.
