    And upon further investigation, Gerard Butler has another film coming next year where he must save the President (the American president, this time) during a massive superstorm: 'Geostorm'. With Ed Harris and Andy Garcia also joining the cast.

    Willem Dafoe and Gary Oldman are all you needed to say for me to be in @DaltonCraig007. Butler looks to be staking out a position as the new tough guy of action films, with Neeson owning the space vacated by Clint.

    @bondjames I agree on Neeson, as for Butler it seems he is owning the space vacated by Bruce Willis.

    @DaltonCraig007, have you ever seen Harry Brown (2009) with Michael Caine? I know you're into movies with more geriatric action guys who fight back in insane ways against people who get in their way.

    I think Harry Brown would be right up your alley. It focuses on Caine as an old man who gets sick of the senseless violence that's gripping his community, and chooses to act against it with force.

    Brady, if you liked Harry Brown, try another British film starring a former Saint actor, Ian Ogilvy in We Still Kill The Old Way. I thoroughly enjoyed that. It was sort of Reservoir Dogs meets Harry Brown.

    I watched We Still Kill The Old Way a few days ago, and I can see where the Harry Brown recommendation would come from. A group of old skool Krays-esque London gangsters go to war against a group of hoodie wearing yoofs.

    I'm a big fan of 'Harry Brown', but I haven't seen 'We Still Kill The Old Way', so I'll check that out. Another british vigilante film that I really like is 'Outlaw', where Sean Bean forms a group of guys who are fed up with the police not doing anything about violence, so they start beating the sh*t out of all the punks they get their hands on. Also featuring Danny Dyer and Bob Hoskins.

    Actually, I did like the first one (experience winning out over youth), so this is good news. It looks like all but one of the four leads return.

    @DaltonCraig007, haven't seen Outlaw, but on your recommendation, I'll try it as soon as I get a copy. :)

    @MajorDSmythe, if you remember the ending of Old Way, the main character Ritchie Archer makes a reference to The Italian Job, reminding the gang of that one heist "Charlie" (his brother, played by Steven Berkhoff) organized in Turin... Now, that would've been Charlie Croker, but assuming it's the same Charlie, the connection to the 1969 film is firm. :D

    So, the sequel, We Still Steal The Old Way, is about a heist. And the main antagonist will be played by none other than Julian Glover.

    If you do watch Outlaw make sure you take motion sickness pills first. The shaky cam and crash zooming make Bourne movies look restrained by comparision.

    Yes, I caught that. Charlie, Turin, 1969... but it's too much of a coincidence. Different surnames, and Crocker wasn't a gangster but why else make such a reference? :-?

    I noticed that Deborah Moore is also in it. If they do a third film, maybe they can get one of the Bonds involved. Dalton, maybe? B-)

    This last weekend i watched Sean Bean in an old Sharpe episode. I'd forgotten just how good they were as stories and how good Bean was in the role

    @bondjames did you have the chance of checking out 'War Dogs'? I'm seeing it tomorrow afternoon, I would greatly enjoy reading your review beforehand if you've seen the film.

    I've never seen any of them in full, but I've caught bits and pieces and they seem pretty entertaining. I saw a scene from the one that had Daniel Craig playing a villain.

    @DaltonCraig007, unfortunately I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but it's on my list. I may be able to get to it tomorrow as well. I look forward to your comments if you see it before me. I'm sure it will be great because all the clips I've seen are excellent. Jonah Hill apparently steals the show..

    Nocturnal Animals looks chilling. Jake Gyllenhal and Michael Shannon have me sold. There's a bit of a No Country for Old Men feel to the trailer. I wonder how tight fitting the suits will be in this one, given it's from Tom Ford.

    Miss Sloane looks great too. I'm a huge fan of Jessica Chastain and can't wait to see anything she does. EDIT: I just looked up who did the cinematography for this film. Chap by the name of Sebastian Blenkov. I think he's going places.

    I've said this before, but could EON cast Jessica Chastain in a Bond film already? Bond Girl or villain, I don't mind, I would just like to see it happen.
