    @doubleoego No worries, that film looks absolutely mental. Between that and 'John Wick 2', the body count in 2017 action films will be sky high before we even reach March.

    @doubleoego do you have an interest in the new xXx film with Vin Diesel? It looks dumb as hell while at the same time it seems like a total blast from start to finish. If you pitched me a guy using skis in a jungle or a guy riding a motorcycle on a tidal wave I would have laughed in your face, but oddly enough these scenes in the trailer made me want to punch the air in celebration. It's like an homage to OTT mindless action films from the 1990's, which makes very excited for it.

    Yeah definitely. It looks like a lot of fun and pure entertainment. I'm not expecting anything deep so I think we're in for a fun time.

    @doubleoego I lost my shit when they said Jamie Foxx's character name in the trailer - Vincent, like Tom Cruise in Collateral. Very good trailer, the film seems like flat-out action from start to finish, and Foxx looks like a proper badass.

    This film looks baaaaaadaaaaaaaaaaasss. Yeah, definitely getting a collateral, training day, miami vice and taken vibe from this. What really impressed me was how great the hand to hand combat looks. So amped for this.

    @doubleoego Both this and 'John Wick' come out in February. Reminds me of when 'Taken' and 'Rambo 4' were released closely together back in 2008, it felt like half of the world population had been killed by Liam Neeson and Sylvester Stallone. I am expecting to witness the same thing again, because Jamie Foxx's seems to demolish everyone that pisses him off (which is basically the entire cast), and Keanu Reeves said Wick 2 would have 2/3 (!) times more action than the 1st film.

    Yes, very impressive. These Korean films are seriously action packed and quite atmospheric. I've yet to see one, but am quickly being sold.

    Insane action and bone breaking in that last trailer @DaltonCraig007. I noticed that there aren't too many women in these Korean films (at least in the trailers). Very much a man's world. Is this true of the films as well?

    @bondjames In quite a few films in South Korea, women are very much in the background. The best example I can give you is 'The Yellow Sea', where the only important female character in the film is the wife of the main character, and she is only one scene - a short 1 minute sex scene. The rest of the 2.5 hours are male characters brutally killing each other.

    That's what I thought @DaltonCraig007, based on the the trailers you've been posting. It's interesting, because South Korea is an incredibly advanced society. So it's probably a cultural thing. I assume the same goes for Japanese films too most likely.
