Seems it's a prerequisite for any ill-fitting movie trailer these days. I'll never understand it.

Jack Black is the one played by Jack Black. Karen Gillan is the one played by Karen Gillan. You should be able to distinguish them by their figures, their facial hair or lack thereof, and their genders.

Tom Cruise update: Top Gun: Maverick will be directed by Joe Kosinski (who worked with Tom Cruise before on 'Oblivion'). Official release date is July 12, 2019.
