  Holy hell, yes. Operation Mekong was very entertaining, and this one somehow looks even better - it'll be a must see for me, those snippets of action look varied and well-done. That director can really handle some higher scope action sequences - I keep thinking about moments in the former film, such as the massive battle on the river or the wild car chase throughout the city.

  I'm very glad to see Martin Campbell back in the spotlight. There was too long a gap between Lantern and Foreigner. Glad he's back in the business and I sincerely hope he's offered Bond again. One more time.

  To be fair it wasn't all that bad. I'm a big fan of the tv show though and that perhaps resulted in expectations being too high (or at least 'preset'). Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas will consequently always be Crockett and Tubbs to me. Not a big Jamie Foxx or Colin Farrell fan either, so that hurt too.

  Huge fan of Gong Li from her Chinese cinema. Not that familiar with her western work. My dream would be to see her as a lead Bond villainess one day, but for now I'm down to see her in a Martin Campbell action-thriller.
