Warning: this trailer spoils some major plot points.
1st look at Bruce Willis in the upcoming Chinese WW2 film The Bombing (much like the recent South Korean war film Operation Chromite that featured Liam Neeson):
Confirmed for this week:
- Another Red Band trailer for Guillermo Del Toro's The Shape of Water.
- A new trailer for Hostiles (the western with Christian Bale).
- The first trailer for the new Steven Spielberg true-story thriller, The Post (featuring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep).

Cool foto. I like Blake Lively. I'm curious where this is headed, I suspect either lay victim turns pro killer, or female Bond.

I know this is a very late response but please watch the whole series immediately ;)
The first one is my favourite film ever and I think it genuinely is one of the best movies ever made. 2 and 3 are good sequels. 4 is a contender for the cheesiest most 80s film ever made and it's brilliant. We don't talk about 5. Sort of an attempt at grounding it again after 4 but the execution was poor imo.
Rocky Balboa was brilliant. Best since the first. And I was really worried going into Creed that it'd just be a cash grab but that was somehow even better and I was really annoyed that it got snubbed completely by the Oscars.
If you really wanted to you could watch Creed and not need to bother with the others but I'd say the series in its entireity is well worth watching. My favourite film outside of Bond and genuine cinematic history. You'll recognise so much that's been parodied/homaged since.
Stallone wrote all of them bar Creed I believe, and directed most, and he's also brilliant in all of them. All the action films he's done made people forget how talented he actually is imo (not that it doesn't take talent to make them). He's a great actor in the right role (the Rocky films, First Blood) and a brilliant writer/director. He's my favourite actor and I love how commited he is to his characters. You can tell he genuinely loves Rocky and Rambo, they're his babies.
It's weird seeing the skepticism around him writing/directing Creed 2. Are people forgetting that he was the driving force behind all the other movies, including the more respected ones? It's his franchise. He won an Oscar for the first. I'd understand if we were right after Rocky IV but he already did another really good, more grounded movie with Rocky Balboa. Creed 2 is in very safe hands imo.
Ah good man, let me know what you think :) And same, Creed was brilliant. It was all just perfectly done, I had the biggest grin on my face during the final fight when the new version of going the distance kicked in.
Ditto to what @ClarkDevlin said. Rocky Balboa was a fantastic return to form, it's a great film and really moving/emotional. I thought it was the perfect ending so I was annoyed at them for doing more, but Creed was actually even better. Definitely worth giving them a go.
