He really does, doesn't he? I love the man, and he's so versatile. He could be doing so much more these days.
I can't remember the last film of his I'd even consider "good." It's been quite a few years now, and it's not like he hasn't still been putting out 2-3 releases a year.
Also, Michael Mann's latest film, Ferrari, is gearing up for a Holiday 2023 release:

It really captures the spirit of the novels, oh dear.
Looks like Hugh Grant will steal the show......again!
Damn Right! =D>
Hopefully it will get something beyond a one-week limited release in the US. SHIN GODZILLA - a great film IMO - only got a 10-day, 1 theater per city back in October 2016.
This looks great.
Awesome! This looks Like a return to Godzilla’s roots of being an unstoppable force of nature.
Nandor Fodor & The Talking Mongoose
Woah just watched this on YouTube, it brought back memory's of watching the first film when it was made available on VHS back in the 80's (the uncut version).
I have lost track with these films.
You know they've run out of ideas when they're coming up with a prequel decades later that takes place in between the first couple of films.
Having said that, I will say this is the best the series has looked in quite some time. There's also no way in hell it's worse than that Spiral garbage was.
I only vividly remember the first 3 film's, as an Agatha Christie fan I thought the original movie was good as was the 2nd. I never watched Spiral, not sure if that counts in the chronology.
You aren't missing anything with Spiral. The twist alone - usually one of the few highlights even in the newer installments - is insanely predictable and goes to great lengths to try to obscure itself until the ending. It was laughably bad.
