I was at the Film Forum on Saturday (for Gojira 1954) and had a chance to see the trailer and it looks even better on a large screen. WOW. Just WOW! Such an influential film!

I got the nostalgia feels there especially with the song, I remember first renting the first film on VHS when released. I wonder if Geena and Alec have cameos, probably unlikely.

I'm excited! I just hope Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter don't make appearances. Too overexposed! I wanted to start a petition for Alyson Court (voice of Lydia on the cartoon) on Twitter if she could make an appearance. She said she was up for it! Michael Keaton is still great.
Mixed opinions. If Dennis Dugan comes back to direct, I'd be nervous. Both in terms of quality, and his creepy behavior around kids.
I doubt he comes back. But watching Sandler and McDonald come back for a PGA Senior Tour plot would be gold
I hope Will didn’t lose his temper on set.
His separated wife at least, in real life lol. In the movie, it could be worse, in terms of violence.🤓
Is that part of the score for the movie? Holy cow? It's excellent. I'm hyped.

Fury Road trailers actually had some fun with music that didn't place in the film. Using Cat Stevens' "Wild World" (and lyrics "ooh baby it's a wild world...and I remember you like a child, girl").
Leveraging ignition/chamberedround/other mechanics as percussion. Giuseppe Verdi 's Movement 2a, Sequenz: Dies Irae. Plus a Radiohead cover that did. And what was that music box melody?
I'm standing by for at least some of that.

I agree, but hasn't there already been a TV remake with Richard Chamberlain?
I had no clue there was one. I see it's got a 3.9/10 rating on IMDB; that explains why.
With that said, this would be a great, against type role for Hugh Jackman

For the next two weeks (until Apil 11th), they are showing the 4K restoration of Le Samourai. I attended a near sold-out screening on Saturday and the picture quality was outstanding. I think that the restored film will also be playing in other cities in the weeks ahead. Look for it. Now, if someone could only shut up that darn bird! :)
PS: I'm in love! :x
