    I read it and said "They made a fourth?...and a third?...and a second one?"

These movies slaughter at the box office, so it's no surprise, really.

Nothing better than a band of brothers watching a few films together.

Stephen King confirms that 'The Dark Tower' is now filming, and it appears that 'IT' will begin filming soon, too:

I have no idea what I just watched, but I'll absolutely see 'The Neon Demon' the first chance I get.

Very early in the year, but I think 'Neon Demon' will get some big nominations for the cinematography, would you agree @Creasy47? That trailer alone is a work of art.

It could, but I also thought Refn's 'Drive' had some great cinematography, as well, and it went fairly unnoticed. It picked up nominations, sure, but in much smaller awards ceremonies. Time will tell!

EDIT: Even though they won't be able to make that sort of time frame, they've dated four sequels for 'Avatar' through 2023. It's been seven years since the first, seems impossibly optimistic to assume you can release the next four in another seven years.

@bondjames on the week of 19th october, I'll be spending my entire time at the cinema it seems, as 'The Girl on the Train', 'Inferno' and 'Jack Reacher 2' all come out at the same time here.

@DaltonCraig007, these are some of my most anticipated films of the year, especially 'Inferno'. The next Dan Brown adaptation has been too long in the making imho. I'm sure Cruise won't let us down either, and Emily/Rebecca will definitely impress as always.

This will make up (just) for the lack of a Bond film this year.

@Tuulia, I read an interview earlier today where Shane Black pretty much says it's in the same style as 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,' so if you loved that, you'll love this, which is music to my ears.

@Creasy47, I didn't love it, but I'm very optimistic anyway, since I loved the trailers and pretty much adore both Gosling and Crowe.

@DaltonCraig007, you and I both. In the last 48 hours, I went from hardly knowing anything about the film to it being one of my most anticipated of the year.

Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson could team up again in the upcoming Jumanji remake.

I'm trying to think of a polite way of saying 'f*ck no' to this rubbish idea.

Looks like Refn had gene transplants from David Lynch. Two hours of how the **** did I get here and what am I doing here, but there´s no way around this film.

Can´t wait for The Nice Guys!

I don't know where else to ask this:

    @bondjames @doubleoego @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7 @Creasy47

We always talk about Tom Cruise's action films and what insane stunts he can do next. But I was wondering: what 'serious' director could he work with in the future? It should be noted that Cruise worked with Spielberg, Scorsese and Kubrick. Not many actors have such resume.

What about Cruise in a David Fincher film? Just the thought of him in a similar role as Downey Jr in 'Zodiac',a world weary reporter, really gets my pulse going. Cruise would be magnificent in such role.

Or Cruise in a Denis Villeneuve crime film. A dark, twisted, mysterious role like Del Toro in 'Sicario'.

Cruise could work with anyone really. One of his best performances is still as Vincent from Michael Mann's Collateral. Cruise could do something with Nolan, Alejandro González Iñárritu and definitely Villeneuve.
