Anyway, I think Zimmer genuinely cares about doing a great job (not just passable) for Bond. With him working with only one person, I think that makes sense and gives a concentrated effort with someone whose feedback he trusts. I'm hopeful for a good score. I did enjoy Zimmer's Inception score.
And Zimmer's inclusion of his top guitarist bodes well for the final product.
It really does. Can't wait to hear it. But this time, I'll really wait to hear it on the film, and not before.
Yeah, anything's possible....but listening to it deeply with a headset....the Zimmeresque Bond music ends once Safin starts shooting the ice....then we hear music from the old trailers...although, what furthered my suspicion of it being Zimmer's music was, I think there was news that we might be getting a hint of Zimmer's music in the coming trailers.
I get it, we're very hungry to hear any musical elements that would be used in the film. Heck I remember the first behind the scenes footage featuring that one pop song everyone was over-analyzing it as if that music was going to determine the musical direction of the score.
Let just sit back and wait. We're likely not going to hear any of the score until very late in March, regardless of rumors are spread on twitter.
They certainly got the vibe right, now i'm excited to see what they'll do with the movie.
I expect to hear the theme in the movie a lot.
If you listen closely from 2:20 onward, you can hear Hans' signature staccato violins in the Background, very TDK and Inception like.
I love the film-noirish trumpet Bond-theme at the end.
I can't wait to hear it and see it accompanied by what's on screen in April. Even if the movie is a mess atleast it will flow with great music, like The Dark Knight rises.
I hope we're both proved happy then!
Now that got me excited. The Bond theme at the ends sounds like vintage Bond. The beginning reminded me a bit of Casino Royale a little.
That's fun: I'm hoping Marr gives us a bit of Bond theme riff to kick off!

Hopefully we get the complete Score
