Very pleased to see that a second wave is on the way, putting to rest any rumours that Funko have lost the licence, or that Brosnan/Craig era models are being blocked for some reason. In fact, 7 of the 9 announced models are from the modern era.

Say what you like about these models, but more affordable Bond collectables of characters that haven't been represented in model form before can only be a good thing IMO. Yes, they're mass produced and every franchise/property seems to be represented in Pop form, but they still look good on display and, despite their simplistic design, they are instantly recognisable.

The only issue I have is that the Craig models seem to be representing the wrong films. Craig in his blue suit with machine gun, despite appearing in that pose in the QoS teaser trailer and poster, is surely how he appears at the end of CR. And the Craig with blue suit and handgun looks a lot more like his appearance in the casino, and follow on scenes at Silva's abandoned hideout, from Skyfall. Minor grievances though!

On a related note, can anyone tell me from which film the M model is influenced by? I seem to be able to picture her wearing something similar, but can't find which film it is.

  • Has the Funko 007 license run out? Could we potentially see any NTTD funko's at all?

I love these, but I’m hurt that they haven’t done Lazenby or Dalton yet. They’re only two of the best Bonds ever (I know, only to many of us, not the public at large). More Bond Girls is a must too. (I mean they did Jinx but not Dalton or Lazenby nor some of the best Bond Girls? That’s just...Jinx is the worst!)

Edit: some people make custom Funko Pops, here’s customs of Lazenby and Dalton.

For anyone who's interested: there appear to be new James Bond Funko Pop!s on the way!

A Funko leaker compiled a list of products he found on various retailer websites. Among them were four new James Bond Pop!s:
    • James Bond (Moonraker)
    • James Bond (No Time To Die)
    • Nomi (No Time To Die)
    • Safin (No Time To Die)

So no Lazenby or Dalton yet, it seems...

The full list can be found here.

Finally, while the leak is coming from a reputable source, nothing is confirmed yet. Retailers often put products up on their site (behind the scenes), and some of them might get cancelled because of licencing or other concerns.

Nice find. A Moonraker Bond is a wonderful idea.
I’d imagine the NTTD Bond would be kitted out in his military outfit.

This isn't to say there won't be more NTTD funkos in the future. There is more Mandalorian figures coming out in May, although for spoiler purposes. I just really want an Ana de Armas funko.

All I wanted is my Ana de Armas funko pop. I am very, very happy.

There might not be a figure of Nick Nack, but Hervé Villechaize's second most famous part has been immortalized as a Funko :

Will also be released alongside the NTTD Funko Pops, this seemingly random Roger Moore in Moonraker one:

I would have bet money that you won't see these til April. I pre-ordered all 5 new ones mos ago from Entertainment Earth, and I got an email that they're ready to ship the first one, Craig in the blue sweater. So I am pretty sure the others will follow in short order.

They need to do: Dalton Lazenby Goldfinger Largo, Wishaw Q, and Fiennes M- then I'd wrap it up.

I want some more from the archives. Not Funkos from whatever the latest film is. The Safin one is pretty cool though

I'd been tempted by the Brosnan GoldenEye one, but a couple of years ago I was gifted a Thorin Oakenshield, and my suspicions were true: these things are just pure, cheaply made, brilliantly collectible, 100% profit margin, pieces of garbage. Genuinely impressed they were able to make a product so poorly, charge any money for them, and sell them by the boatload.

EDIT: Sorry that was so aggressive lol, I think like others may be, I feel a bit starved for cool and affordable Bond collectible merchandise, and so it’s upsetting that this is sort of all we get.

I've started collecting the Funko Pop figurines. Right now I have Sir Sean Connery in Dr. No, Daniel Craig in Spectre, M, Laylah from Star Trek Beyond, Dr. Strange, the wedding figurines of Harry and Meghan, and Professor McGonagal.
