With the films thread finished, let s do a quick epilogue with the actors. It isn t that long since we had an elimination game, but this is a slightly different concept, and less prone to be decided by chance.
With a total of fifteen matches, I am thinking three matches per round. That way it will be over in a month if I change every six days. Just state your preferred Bond for each of the three match-ups, and I will tally up the results next month same as in the other thread.

We have only just begun, but this is a different concept and maybe the nostalgia after Moore s death is starting to wear off. NTTD s trailer could also play into it. I don t know.
It will be exciting to see just how this plays out.
I went back and checked. Last year, Craig came in fourth and Moore second, but in 2016 Craig came second and Moore third.

Lazenby over Dalton. While I am a huge Daltonite and he was until only recently my second favourite Bond behind Lazenby, I can't put him against my favourite Bond of all, George. Both men portrayed the most Flemingesque Bond's in their respective films, bringing a genuinely relatable, human side to the character, present in the pages of Fleming.
Moore over Craig. Moore is the reason I'm a Bond fan today and while his portrayal is almost the polar opposite of what I like in my Bond, I find his performance more watchable then Craig. The moments in which Moore played it straight have provided some of the best in the series. That being said Craig's performance in Casino Royale is top shelf material and remains his best Bond to date, IMO.

Connery over Craig fits that bill as well. Voting against Pierce was harder for me than voting against Dalton or Moore, admittedly, Moore being the runner up.
