It was decent, nonetheless.
It could go either way with Zimmer. He's come up with some stunning tracks on several of his scores, alongside some real generic stuff.
It's, at least encouraging, that he's a Bond fan, and a huge fan of John Barry, so fingers crossed we get some vintage 007 melodies.
Zimmer usually tends to put out his best work when he's actually interested in the project so I'm hopeful that we'll get some good stuff out of him.
The fact that he was not only working with Cary Fukunaga in person, but also clearly enjoying himself is a good sign.
"His" worst stuff tends to come about when he clearly has no real interest in the score, so he sketches out one or two vague themes and then dumps the rest of the work on his ghostwriters.
The huge plus in this score is, since CR, the Composer worked closely with the Artist. So the score is really going to be great. I think there was also talk that apart from the Bond theme, Zimmer also created his own Bond theme.

I would have preferred the one of Bond in the navy tactical wooly, myself.
Very nice track. Not too bothered about the film but the score sounds great.
I'd have loved it if they used the black and white poster design with Bond and Madeleine in the DB5.
Also came across this item, never an official contender but a track from the L.A. band The Tooners. Kind of demo quality. Notable for its up front Alice Cooper ethos, plus even the Dali connection to Bond with the graphic.
The clock graphic reminds me of the Dali-influenced Colonel Sun cover.
You mean the part where Paloma sprouts a giant nose and ear in place of her arms and head? I thought that was common knowledge by now.
How bad am I going to feel if that actually ends up happening in the movie...
It was first used in the TV spot 'Your Enemy Is My Enemy' and in the new international trailer where it starts at 0:51. Slight variation in the trailer but VERY Zimmer sounding...

as in all the other trailers, I'm going to say I think it probably isn't from the film, but I wouldn't call banco on that.
In the international trailer it also sounds very out of place to the ending bond tune and what comes before, like it's just been mixed in at 0:51 but in the TV Spot the ending is part of it and very trailery so... who knows
