Maybe his job title should be: Cup's King, after winning the fa cup and shield. :)>-
As player and (then) head coach!
_________
This is just so…Arsenal.
How did Luiz injure his neck ?
Does he carry his money on his head ? :))
He gets paid heaps. 200k a week ?
True. He understands quicker, coz he was our former player and captain.
It's a neck spasm, so probably sustained during training. He's been decent under Arteta, so no matter what we think of him, it puts Arsenal short of one man. Holding to replace him perhaps.
And on top of that, Edu is working on bringing in players and Mertesacker leads the academy. I think the steps the academy has taken recently are very interesting.
I have a bad feeling about this game. It just feels like an opener Arsenal will lose…
Yeah, I know that feeling. I have it too.
You might be right.
It will be very interesting to see how Leeds and Fulham start the season.
Just hope there are some goals scored and not a boring 0-0.
Exactly. We need something exhilarating.
The number of injuries worries me too. The defence Arsenal can field isn't really an experienced one…
There's goals in that game, that's for sure!
Yeah, that's it. Defensive issues.
Yeah, looks like a goals game.
Worked out in the end, thankfully!
There's something hyperactive and positive about Arsenal at the moment. I just like their new found habit of defending now. And the debutants Willian and Gabriel were exceptional today.
I just cross my fingers that positivity can continue, 'cause when things go sour at Arsenal, it goes really, really wrong… Willian was terrific, and Gabriel had some fantastic stats to add to his performance:
It was against a promoted team, but still.

The women's team is also doing alright in their second game of the season tonight!
Lol, Arsenal women aren't joking.
Yeah. Really thankful.
@GadgetMan Yes!
They are really fun to watch; there's so much talent in that team! It's just a shame I rarely find a way to watch those games…
Yeah, they're that good.
Yeah, me too. But I guess it's because it isn't that mainstream.
Yeah, that's the thing. There's one channel over here that airs FAWSL occasionally, but not always. The Arsenal Player on arsenal.com sometimes show some matches too (usually with Adrian Clarke on commentary).
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sorry for laughing this hard. But that miss, is the miss of the century. What?!!!!
I know, right? It's incredible!
Yeah, truly incredible.
Lucky for us football fans, there are Twitter accounts for these kinds of clips!
Lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzz My Goodness!!!
There are so many great football moments to be found on that Twitter account – you could spend an afternoon watching clips! :))
