Looks like a very nice tooling with the details! Looks like I'm gonna have to add another Hot Wheels DB5 to my collection...

Want that 1:8 DB5, the Auto Art DB5 would be awesome but it's quite pricey.

1:8 DB5 is Eaglemoss. Built 2 of them. It's massive and very heavy, metal body.
More than 57 cm long and nearly 20 cm wide, weight 8.5 kg
Workings lights inside and out and engine noises also.

I got the 1:18 DB5 by Sun Star not long ago. The doors and bonnet open, but no gadgets. There's felt carpet around the foot wells. The vertical bars on the grille could be a little more prominent, they don't pop as much as they should. The wheels look great - a major factor for me when choosing which one to buy. Video below of the Sun Star:

Corgi now seems to give the battle treatment to the (latest) re-release, which will prolly be released in 2026 or so.

Hello, first-time poster here. I am hoping someone here can provide some guidance.
I customized some 3.75 in G.I. Joes (1:18 scale figures) as James Bond. I did Connery and Craig. I got the ertl joyride 1:18 Aston Martin dbs from Casino Royale for the Craig Bond, but it’s a little too small for the figure. I want to buy a 1:18 Aston Martin db5, but before investing in a model, I’d like to know which one would fit Hasbro’s G.I. Joe scale. I’m sorry for the blasphemy as toy scale won’t be as precise as models, but I would want a car that would fit the figure, not just having the figure stand on the side (like with the Craig-Bond figure and the 2006 Ertl Joyride Aston Martin dbs).
Anybody who has either the Hot Wheels Elite, Autoart, Ertl Joyride, or any other model, could you measure it against a 3.75 in G.I. Joe figure, and let me know if the scale is good and the figure could fit inside? Any help/perspective/suggestion is greatly appreciated!

@Indiana_Jones My 1:18 Sun Star DB5 is too small for the figures. Going by simple maths, I would assume a 3.75 inch tall GI Joe figure would be 1:19.2 scale.

@QBranch thanks! That would explain why the AM dbs is a tad small.
I don’t think there is a 1:16 scale model of any car anywhere in the world, so I think I’m out of luck. :(

Better detail on the DB5. Heaven knows when they'll put it out. They say 'winter 20-21,' riiiiight.

Hot Wheels DB5. Details look good, but no miniguns, sadly.

Noticeably heavier than the Johnny Lightning Vantage.

I bought a Hot Wheels Elite James Bond Spectre 007 Aston Martin DB10 1:18.

1:18 is my favourite scale, that looks great. I have a few Bond cars in that scale, cost wise I can't justify getting the DB10 right now due to Covid income...
Nice model, bet it looks great on display.

Just having a look at the new Corgi Vantage on ebay, and it suffers from what I complain about a bit here: they didn't get the wheels right! The rims look fine; great detail there. But check how undersized and set-in the wheels are:

You can't really tell from the side, but on all other angles...ugh. Might pass on this one. :-?

Yeah it's never been a very good sculpt, sadly. The wheels are more faithful than their previous Living Daylights version but, yeah, too small. Weird how they've not done the kickplates on the side the right colour either.
They've removed the sunroof at least to make it the NTTD one.
