Post a picture of your PET

I figure since we have a 'post your pic' thread, any good forum also has a 'post your pet' thread to go along with it!

Here's my big ox of a cat (Dude):

He's a bit.... what's the right word? Simple.

Last Halloween I threw a party and bought 'blood red' vodka- here he is checking it out :D

From when he was a wee lad:

He also does the 'meerkat' thing all the time- I love that stupid cat!

And here's my girlfriend's cat- our cats met when we moved in together. Could have been a disaster! But fortunately they get along!
She's so disturbing-- I swear she has a 'human face'
Her name is Abby but I call her 'Arby's' just to annoy my GF :D

Finally I'll leave you with this one- this is how he'll sit for hours at a time, just staring off into space like he's Forrest Gump or something!! :))

My cat died recently. A terrible kind of illness that made her suffer through and through. Couldn't bare to let it go on for much longer. Forgive me for not posting a pic just yet.
  • Good idea! This is Memphis Raines, our 3 year old Maine Coon, right now he ways about 28lbs, probably about 4 feet long, yes, he's a monster, very bright, more like a dog than a cat, he'll follow you about and comes when he's called, he's actually quite good company, for a cat...

Ah, that must of been very difficult for you, they do become one of the family.

From today-- reading comic books with me! ;)

    lard.jpg

Time to burn that comic book box I think.... :-&

Very sorry to hear about your cat Darth-- if you put her down, you did the right thing. I had to do that with our family cat, back when I lived with my parents. She actually arrived before I was born, and the damn thing lived to be TWENTY TWO years old!! I was starting to think she was a Highlander! But then she got really sick, really fast and we put her to sleep and took her home and buried her in our yard.
It was pretty tough because since she arrived before I did, I had never known life without that cat!

Tittersome that comment. You're quite right, though - that's a hell of a big, hairy cat.

Our cats are great company. One's selfish, jealous, paranoid and not very smart; the other's kittenish, friendly, fun and quite smart. Oh, and annoys the hell out of the other one. They could be in their own sitcom. They're basically The Odd Couple...

These pics are great! Thanks for this thread. :) I have two cats at home in Florida (I am still in Japan) and a dog in Japan. I will try to get some photos up (don't know if I can).

I too have had cats (and dogs) all of my life. They are part of the family for sure. My one cat lived to be 21. It is incredibly hard to lose a pet; but I cannot imagine my life without my pets. So much love. And humor, comfort, and fun.

Everyone's pets are so adorable! I love cats so much. I also love excuses to talk about my little girl, Domino. She just turned three years old last week. :)

The last one is her with her sister, Honey (my friend's cat; we adopted them when we were roommates. I love having friends that are also Bond fans)

A name to match your profile photo. Lovely. Your next will be named Solange, I presume?

That's not a bad idea, if I got another pet! :p It's actually my grandmother's name too.

We don't like cats. We're were never really dog people either, until this handsome fella called Buster entered out lives.

To say he's got us wrapped around his paws is an understatement. We rarely go anywhere without him.

I have a dog too. He's nearly 13 and his name is Rocky, I'll try and post a pic.
  • Interesting how many people here are cat people...I would have thought that Blofeld would have put them off of cats...

Of course, we may yet see people posting pics of fluffy white cats that they like to stroke whilst sitting in a chair hatching nefarious plans...

I too was surprised at how long it took for someone to post a dog!

Nice to see more cat-lovers on here than dog-lovers! I myself am a cat lover, I have a six or seven year old cat named Allie. We're not positive on her age, but it's at least one of those two. Not sure how to upload pictures, so I'll have to just say it with words, hahaha.

Wow, there's a lot of cat lovers on this forum! I had no idea. I am not a big fan of cats, I'm more of a dog person. We have one dog named Belle, who I think is about 9 years old.

My mom's cat- she arrived the last year I still lived with my parents, so she sort of feels like 'my' cat. Although everytime I visit, it feels like she's forgotten me (little bitch)
