I went with Earthshaker because of the classic 'shaken, not stirred' Bond line, but it's pretty tenuous.

Calipso... sounds like it could be something nefarious Bond has to take down.

I like it. Sounds very Dr. No (the novel version). The words "the calypsos throb" are even mentioned on the back of the very first '60s Pan paperback edition I bought all those years ago (26 and counting...) along with the film tie-in Pan edition of You Only Live Twice. My first two Fleming Bond novel finds.

    The Man From Univex

Bond's cover is nearly blown when a rival secret service agency discovers that the fictional company 'Transworld Consortium' is a front for various MI6 headquarters across the globe. Bond must do what it takes to prevent the various branches from being infiltrated during their transition to relocation.

Cue Bond's snooping around at night and a classic sniper scene.

By the end of the story, the new cover is known as 'Universal Exports'.

    I really don’t care for them to adapt the stories but I think some of the continuation novel and game titles are great without sounding too much like pastiche;

    - Forever and a Day (my personal favourite)
    - Zero Minus Ten
    - Carte Blanche
    - Nightfire
    - Trigger Mortis
    - Agent Under Fire

Plenty of traditional English idioms & expressions left to toy with...

    Silence Speaks Louder Than Words

    Better Dead Than Never

    The Worst Of Both Worlds

    The Spy Before The Storm

    The Devil's In The Daylight

    Leave No Spy Unturned

Yes most of these are very promising, if not quite on the money

It's a classic Bondian reference that could be made use of in a title?

Craig-Bond hasn't made use of it since QoS apparently

Not sure about the full name as a title. How about simply Univex - it's short, sounds scientific, and like, 'Skyfall', it's a title that has an air of mystery about it, particularly for the general audience.

You're right that QOS was the last on-screen reference to UE, although it has appeared a few times since, in the comics.

Skyfall was such a brilliant title, and the first trailer with the word association, you could see the effect the word had on Bond... I was dying to know what it meant!

I know what you mean, it's a bit clunky on it's own

Like "The Hildebrand Rarity" would be

To me, 'Skyfall' sounded like a mission from Bond's past, gone wrong. Of course, I followed the production closely and discovered what it meant before the film came out.

Ah, that’s a shame. I did that with SP and NTTD. But Skyfall was a great surprise.

I guess if you were to categorise the titles into "Fleming styles" boxes

"Skyfall" would be from the same family as "Moonraker" and "Thunderball"

    A great Bond title.

Also coming after the damnation of QOS (not my own), in part I took the SF title as the filmmakers poking their detractors. Baiting complaints of "Skyfail" and lending itself to Chicken Little doom and gloom. While at the same time they were confident and proud of their product.

I remember watching one the 1970's Doctor Who episodes, where characters described a rock collapsing accident as a 'Skyfall'.

Since NTTD already had a title that was used in a TV series before ("Columbo"), I thought maybe it's not a bad idea to look at other episode-titles of TV series for a potential Bond movie title.

Some titles of episodes I thought sound decent:

    "Back in the World"
    "Throwing Fire"
"Red Sky at Night" (wasn't it even a working title for Skyfall?)
    "Fire and Brimstone"
    "Sinner Takes All"
    "Unfriendly Skies"
    "Sounds of Silence"
    "Meltdown"
    "Designated Target"
    "World of Trouble"

    Any title you like?

Sinner Takes All is the favourite there for me, although perhaps a touch too punny.

IDK, I think that "Bond" would be a very fitting name for the next film.

No "James Bond 007" before the title, just "Bond". like "Logan".

It wouldn't be my preference, but I can imagine it looking pretty striking on a poster in all caps.
